The Pamper Queen

============================================================================= Chapter 1
=============================================================================
The bright rays of Celestia's sun beamed down upon the gold quartz spires of Canterlot Castle. Pegasai fluttered overhead, positioning clouds and other aerial objects. The streets were filled with ponies. The bustling and creaking of wooden carriages and primitive motorized vehicles filled the streets.

The forecast had long been set, and the day planned. Sunny skies with a gentle shower toward evening, just after the evening rush, to prevent ponies returning home from getting soaked. The Wonderbolts were practicing for an upcoming airshow, and Sweet Apple Acres was busy harvesting the summer crop.

Today was bound to be another amazing day in the land of Equestria. A land where peace abounded and friendship was always the answer. Unfortunately for two ponies, they would not be experiencing such joys and simple pleasures as the rest of their subjects.

Celestia sighed as she watched Prince Blueblood pace back and forth before the royal throne. Blueblood was the most despised noble in her court. He always had a habit of finding the most absurd, tiny things to complain about and then dared to waste her and her sister's time in the morning court.

The whole point of morning court was for the princesses to sit down and listen to their subjects. To understand the worries and concerns of every pony in Equestria, regardless of status, to make informed decisions about upcoming policies, laws, economics, etc.

It was an excellent system that had prevented several recessions and international tragedies over the years. It had allowed the sun princess to take a more active role in leadership. Monarchs often became disconnected or out of touch after years of unquestioned rule. Morning court was Celestia's answer to this impending issue.

By stripping her of her title for a few hours a day, Celestia could hear an unbiased, unfiltered opinion from any pony willing to voice their concerns and woes to her. It was an open forum of government that she thought was genius and had been encouraging the griffons to adopt for several years.

Of course, the system had experienced one small hiccup. She had designed the system several years after her sister's banishment and had only accounted for one regent to oversee all complaints. After the return of her sister, Luna, thanks to the efforts of the elements of harmony and her former most faithful student, Twilight Sparkle, Luna had been hastily interjected into the system.

Being the more warring of the two, it had taken a few months for the Lunar princess to soften up and stop yelling at their subjects over their incompetence, but it had worked out in the end. The prince's rant continued, showing no signs of stopping.
Celestia flashed her sister an apologetic smile. Luna rolled her eyes and rested her cheek against a hand. Today was going to be a long day.

Celestia loved all her little ponies equally, and truly she meant that, but Blueblood always found a way to challenge the merit of such sentiments. Luna groaned and slumped in her chair as Blueblood threw his hands into the air dramatically and hollered, "Can you believe they said that, Auntie? The indignity! Do they know WHO I AM?!"

Sometimes, Celestia wished she could cast Blueblood from the noble courts and prevent him from ever wasting their time again, but she knew she couldn't. Such an action would fly in the face of the principles of friendship and problem-solving she had spent the last century cultivating.

Having endured this humiliation several times, Celestia knew there was no stopping the rant. All of Morning Court would be used up and wasted by Blueblood. The Prince would eventually tire himself out and leave the palace satisfied he'd made his point, but until then, all the royal sisters could do was wait.

Canterot Castle was bathed in a gentle blue and purple glow as the light of the moon pierced the stained glass of the throne room, bathing the occupants in a gentle evening glow. Just below, the silhouettes of Princess Celestia and Princess Luna busied themselves stretching after several hours of sitting.

"Can you believe he said that, Sister?! Gah! I just want to" Luna huffed, balling her hands into fists and made a show of punching the air. Blueblood's rant had managed to soak up almost five hours of their day.

Celestia giggled, watching her sister seethe with indignation over the spoiled prince. "He can be quite the handful." She said calmly.

"Ugh! Why, why do you put up with him, Sister? How do you put up with him?"

The sun princess sighed, "You know why, Lulu, we cannot cast aside the opinions and concerns of those we dislike. Is Blueblood a spoiled brat? Of course, on that we both agree. However, his insight is still valuable, no matter how unlikely that sounds."

Luna growled, throwing her arms up in exasperation as Celestia felt a wave of tiredness wash over her. The morning court and general daily activity had a way of draining her, especially when Blueblood was involved. Perhaps the young prince had taken more out of her than she'd realized.

"If I mway pwincessh, er I mean" Platinum Spirit, A white, green-eyed earth pony with flowing chestnut hair interjected with a cough, "If I may your majesty." His cheeks glowed with red embarrassment.

"Hm?" Celestia asked, turning her head to face the pony, eyebrow raised. Platinum Spirit was one of her most trusted guards in the royal courts. He was a brilliant tactician and honest earth pony, and knew many of the castle's ancient secrets and passageways by heart.

"I believe you two are in dire need of a break, some time away from the palace. Perhaps you should schedule a spa day or other royal getaway?"

Celestia placed a finger to her chin in thought as Luna nodded tiredly. "Yes, yes," The princess of the night admitted, "A brief vacation may do us some good. What would thou recommend?"

Her sister had a point; the pair hadn't taken a "vacation" in several months. But could she justify one over such a minute inconvenience? Sure, today had been tiring, but that was mostly Blueblood, and Eqesturia needed them! Well, to be fair, it always needed them, but the point still stands.

"I recently visited a newly opened establishment named Little Space Hypnotherapy just off the main street. It was an excellent spa/mini vacation that eased my mind for several hours. Perhaps you two should give it a chance? I feel I should warn you, however, their methods can be unorthodox."

Luna opened her mouth to respond, but Celestia cut her off. "Thank you, Platinum, we'll consider it. Now, if you'll excuse us," The sun princess took Luna by the hand, gave Platinum a curt nod, and marched out of the throne room.
"Sister!" Luna protested with a yelp of surprise.

"We do not need a vacation, Luna," Celestia huffed as the pair marched toward their rooms. "Yes, today was challenging, but tomorrow is a new day! Now get some sleep, there is much to do!"

Luna sighed but yielded. Her sister was right, there was much to do come the morning, and they best not be distracted. Soon, the princesses were locked away in their respective rooms, preparing for bed. They brushed their teeth, put on their pajamas, and tucked themselves under mountains of silky, smooth blankets, quickly falling asleep.

"Psst. Sister? Are thou awake?" Luna's voice broke the silence of the night.

"Hrrnnn?" Celestia mumbled back, refusing to open her eyes.

"Sister! Wake up!" Luna repeated, giving Celestia a gentle nudge.

"Hrrnn hmmm? What is it, Luna?" Celestia asked, rolling over and burying her nuzzle deep into her pillow.

"I know thou said we didn't need a vacation, but would thou be willing to sneak out of the castle for but an evening instead?"

The question caught Celestia's tired mind off-guard, prompting her to sit up in bed and rub her eyes tiredly. Perhaps she had misheard. "Are you serious?"

They hadn't snuck out of the castle in quite a while, but the sun princess would be lying if she said the idea wasn't incredibly alluring to her this evening. Sure, it was a small pain logistically, and the next morning would be a nightmare to get through, but such excursions often resulted in the funniest and wackiest adventures with her sister.

Luna nodded enthusiastically. "Yes! Besides, are thou not the least bit curious about this mystery shop thy guard informed us of in thy throne room?"

Celestia blinked a few times, whipping away the blur at the edges of her vision before a devilish smirk flooded her features. "Let's do it!~"

Soon, the duo was walking down the main street of Canterlot. Slipping past the guards was always adrenaline-pumping but ultimately a simple task. The guards were forbidden from entering the princess's rooms. This was for privacy reasons and to allow excursions such as these to be possible.

"Do you know where we are going, Luna?" Celestia asked absentmindedly as they sauntered down the street with nay a pony in sight. Usually, when they did this, they would be in disguise using either drapy fancy clothes or an illusion spell; however, that was not necessary tonight.

The streets were barren, and Celestia knew that aside from the occasional carriage, most would choose to stay indoors due to the light shower the weather ponies had scheduled earlier. The streets were still wet even hours removed from the event in question.

"Not exactly, Sister," Luna replied with a thoughtful hum. "Thy guard only said it was called Little Space Hypnotherapy and it was located off the main street."

Celestia nodded, giving a gentle grunt in response. The pair walked several blocks. Mainstreet was a light walk from the palace after all, but once they arrived, their search would be short-lived.
On the edge of the sidewalk just off the corner sat a store with a pure glass storefront. A sign hung over the front door, 'Little Space Hypnotherapy.'

With an excited giggle and a few playful hand motions, the royal sisters pushed open the door and stepped inside. A tiny bell attached to the door rang, signaling the light purple unicorn pony with pink and velvet hair to wake from her unintentional slumber at the front counter.

"Huh?! Buh uh, Welcome! I'm Pamper Swirl! And welcome to Little Space Hypnotherapy! What can I help you with?" Having been jolted awake by the front door opening Pamper Swirl defaulted to her practiced welcome spiel. The poor girl barely managed to avoid tumbling over her words.

Silence loomed in the air as Pamper Swirl's brain kicked into overdrive as her eyes took in the two ponies who had just entered her shop. She must be seeing things; there was no way the princesses had just stumbled into her shop in the dead of night!

The princesses stared at the unicorn in question for several seconds before a series of snorts and giggles from Luna broke the silence.

"Luna!" Celestia hissed, flashing Pamper Swirl an apologetic smile. She gave her sister a gentle but firm jab to the ribs with her elbow.

"Ha ha! Forgive us, sister!" Luna replied in between snorts, failing to contain her laughter. "But thy name is most. Most amusing little pony." The Lunar princess turned away from the pair in an attempt to calm herself, but ultimately failed as snorts and giggles continued to spew from her mouth.

Celestia sighed but smiled at her sister nonetheless. Luna could be a handful, and it had been challenging helping her acclimate to modern equestrian, but she wouldn't trade her sister or the journey for the world. Moments like these made it all worth it for the sun princess.

"O-o-h, it's all quite alright, your highness." Pamper Swirl responded with an embarrassed smile. "T-that's usually the reaction I get, I'm uh used to it." The light purple unicorn waved her hand dismissively a gentle blush coating her face, "I-I-If it helps, you can call me Swirl."

"Yes, yes," Luna said, waving her hand in front of her mouth, still struggling and failing to lose her giggle bug. "We, we think that will do just fine!" She looked at Celestia once more before bursting into another series of giggles.
Celestia rolled her eyes. "Don't mind her." She gestured to Luna with a thumb.

"Oh, um okay." Swirl squeaked, letting out a nervous giggle, "What uh, what do I owe the pleasure of royalty visiting me this evening?" Pamper Swirl gasped mid-sentence as a thought crossed her mind, "Equestria isn't in danger, is it?!"

The statement caught Celestia off-guard for a second, however, she quickly recovered and her face defaulted to the pleasant smile she wore when she spoke with all of her little ponies, "Oh no, not at all my little pony, we've come to visit because well, it's been a stressful few days at the palace." The Sun princess admitted tiredly.

"Indeed." Luna chimed in, having finally gotten her laughter under control.

"We heard from one of our guards that you have many remedies and-" She paused, her face gaining a quizzical look, "unorthodox solutions to stress and mental hardship, is this correct?"

"Oh! Oh!" Pamper Swirl said as her eyes widened to the size of dinner plates. "Of course! How could I be so naive? You two must have THE MOST stressful job in the world!" The unicorn was practically vibrating in place with excitement. It reminded Luna of Twilight's friend Pinkie Pie.

Celestia's pleasant smile quickly gave way to a tired one as she nodded. "Well, I wouldn't say in the world, but it can be quite exhausting." The sun princess knew she was being modest; she didn't want her little ponies to think their princesses were growing tired of dealing with their antics.

She had long considered quitting, maybe even passing on the royal duties to Twilight Sparkle, but always came back to the same conclusion. She didn't trust anyone other than herself and her sister to lead Equestria. Should she quit, she would always worry about the one who replaced her.

"Oh goodness, where are my manners!" Pamper Swirl's voice broke Celestia from her internal musings. The unicorn ran around the side of the counter and grabbed Celestia and Luna gently by the wrist, quickly guiding them to the corner of the room.

The sisters were caught off guard by the sudden arm grab, and Luna almost protested but decided to abstain. It was a pleasant change of pace for the princesses not being treated like royalty. The pair got the sense that Pamper Swirl was like this with all of her customers, regardless of status, and that thought made Celestia very happy.

A small circle of pink beanbag chairs, plastic seats, and soft circular carpets dotted the area. "Please, please, take a seat." Pamer Swirl said as she gestured invitingly to the seats in question. The pair happily obliged. Luna practically fell into the beanbag chair, happy to get off her feet and rest.

Celestia was a bit more dignified, opting instead to lower herself with grace onto the other beanbag. The beanbag in question was shockingly comfortable. It felt like you were resting on a white fluffy cloud, a pleasure usually restricted to Pegasus.

"You two, wait. Right. Here!" Pamper Swirl said with some punctuality to her tone before she ran to what Celestia assumed was the back of the store to grab something.

Now that the pair were seated, they could drink in the atmosphere of the store. The floors, walls, and shelves were made of gorgeous mahogany wood. A set of large glass pane windows lined the wall to the left of the princesses, revealing a clear view of the main street.

A row of three large shelves was placed symmetrically toward the center of the store. Lining the shelves were a myriad of different supposed therapy tools. Strange glowing potions, small potted plants, small glass bottles of pink and purple particles, and what appeared to be a series of medium to large electronic devices.

"I must say, sister," Luna said after a few seconds of silence, "Thy abode is far cozier and inviting than I'm used to here, no offense to Canterlot, of course."

Celestia hummed in agreement, somewhat distracted by the sheer comfort the beanbag she was sitting on provided. It was so comfortable that she was considering asking Swirl if it was for sale. "Well, Platinum did say this place was not like any other and 'unorthodox,' whatever that means."

"Indeed," Luna responded absently.

After a few minutes, Pamper Swirl returned bound book in hand and a set of ink and quill aloft in her magic. "I'm so sorry for the wait, princesses." Swirl said apologetically, "This old thing has a bad habit of getting lost under other paperwork."

"Oh, don't worry about it." Celestia said, opening her eyes to address the unicorn properly, "Trust me, I know the feeling."

"Heh heh, yeah." Swirl said, rubbing the back of her head with a free hand. "Now then, let's get to it, shall we?" The purple unicorn smiled warmly at the two sisters, "Now this is a bit of a new experience for me, I've never had anyone of your stature enter my humble little store so-"

"Just do what thou usually do with thy customers," Luna interjected, cutting Pamper Swirl off.

Celestia gave Luna a pointed glance as Pamper Swirl tensed up from the sharp undertone in the lunar princess's voice. "What my sister means to say is, don't worry about our status or insulting us. Treat us as you would any other pony, I promise we will not be offended."

This relaxed the light purple unicorn as a gentle but embarrassed smile crawled onto her face. "Yes, yes, of course I-I'm sorry." Swirl closed her eyes and took in a deep breath before continuing. "So, what exactly brought you two here today? By that I mean, what do you hope to achieve during your visit here?"

The question made Celestia pause. What had she intended to find here? A part of her wanted a break, but that wasn't the full picture. She wanted to spend some time with her sister outside the rigid hierarchy and rules of the royal palace. She loved her little ponies to death and respected the royal guards to no end, but there was no denying they were treated differently due to their status.

In her early years, she had loved the sense of power and command ponies fawning over her had given her, but now? It was all for show, and a part of her secretly wished she were normal like everyone else. Of course, she would never tell anyone this desire, not even her sister.

Yet, the question remained: what did Celestia want? She hadn't considered such an inquiry in over a century.
Luna, on the other hand, had no such hesitation and quickly piped up with a request while her sister sat deep in thought.

"We wish for a break from the business of our palace." She said with a curt nod, "I for one have grown weary of the insistent nagging of those with higher stature!"

"Mhm, Mhm." Pamper Swirl nodded, jotting down a few notes in her book.

"I am sure thou would agree, sister!" Luna said confidently, waving her hand around aimlessly in front of her face, "We seek a breath of fresh air! A relaxation and recharge, as it were!"

The sound of quill etching into parchment signaled more note-taking from Pamper Swirl. It was then that Celsetia, much to her dismay, realized she agreed with Luna. Life at the palace had become a show. There were ways she had to act and carry herself around everyone.

The nobles had long forgotten their true purpose as servants of the people and now wasted her time with meaningless squabbles and vied for power, ultimately none of them had. Her little ponies, while pure of heart, argued over the meaningless things and had become fragile as glass.

"Well, I would hate to make you think we dislike or even despise our role as rulers of Equestria, but I am inclined to agree with my Sister. I am here tonight intent on a break, complete and total relaxation separate from the whims of nobles and the fawning of my little ponies." Celestia said diplomatically.

Pamper Swirl's smile widened slightly as Celestia talked, almost morphing into a devilish smirk before reverting to an innocent, unassuming grin. She finished scribbling down a final set of notes before looking up at the princesses and placing her ink and quill on a nearby table with her magic.

"Well then." She clapped her hands together. "You two are just in luck! I recently acquired a fantastic relaxation-inducing device from a friend in Zebrica!"

The Princesses shared a glance, intrigued by this information. "You've probably noticed the smaller version sitting on the shelf over there." Pamper Swirl gestured dismissively to the strange electronic devices Luna had noticed earlier.

Luna Mmm'd in recognition as Celestia nodded, intrigued by the idea of this strange device. She'd never heard of such a thing. While she was open to all emerging technology and modern convenience, she wasn't as invested or up-to-date with the electronic side as her sister.

"Would you two be willing to give it a try? I think it would be perfect for you!" Pamper Swirl asked.

"I don't see why not, "Celestia replied as Luna shrugged.

"Excellent!" Pamper Swirl slammed her book shut and quickly stood, tucking the book under her right shoulder before gesturing for the princess to follow her. "Follow me, your highness."

Luna groaned at the prospect of leaving the comfortable beanbag chair behind but quickly got over it. The pair stood and followed the light purple unicorn with some haste. Pamper Swirl had gained some excitement about her that was infectious.

"Please forgive the mess." Pamper Swirl said as she led the princesses behind the store counter and through the door leading to the back. "I haven't had time to set up a proper display shelf at the front." She chuckled in embarrassment as the lights above them flickered.

Stacks of large cardboard boxes lined the walls. A series of filing cabinets full of documents, transaction reports, and daily tills stood adjacent to the boxes. Empty glasses and crumpled-up bottles of water littered the floor. The area was an absolute mess. It was no wonder Swirl was embarrassed to show it.

The mess didn't bother Celestia; she was all too familiar with the struggles of storing everything a business or organization needed in a confined space. Several of the halls in her castle contained a similar level of disorganization hidden beyond the view of any normal citizen.

Eventually, the trio found themselves in front of a metal door at the end of a small hallway. Pamper Swirl hummed a detuned melody as she reached into her pockets and fiddled with her keys before unlocking the door. A large cloud of dust shot up from the floor as the metal door swung open

The whole ordeal and environment screamed horror movie and would likely be terrifying for any normal pony. However, Celestia and Luna were far from normal ponies. They had lived for centuries and had seen far worse horrors than an unkept corner store.

Besides, Pamper Swirl had been nothing but charming and shown no ill will. They were the rulers of Equestria, and they could handle a little unicorn just as Twilight and her friends had dealt with Starlight Glimmer before her redemption. The trio stepped through the door.

Beyond the door was a quaint room. The walls were coated in thick layers of acoustic foam, preventing any sound from getting out or in. A wooden table divided the room symmetrically down the middle. A series of shelves lined the back wall. A large flat-screen television hung a little above a set of beanbag chairs.

"For this procedure to work, you two will need to relax. And I don't mean in the way that happens when you get a massage or sit down in a chair, I mean relax in a way that only a powerful remedy or potion can provide. I assume you two are familiar with relaxation potions?"

The sisters nodded. Luna had used some after returning from her banishment when the stress of reacclimating to Equestria had overwhelmed her. Luna had offered some to Celestia, but she had politely declined. She worried the potions would distract her from her duties.

Tonight, these concerns would be waved. Celestia came here to relax, and that was what she was going to do, potion or not. Besides, something deep inside her told her to the light purple unicorn with a funny name. Pamper Swirl had a warm energy about her.

Swirl reached across the table and grabbed two small glass bottles of glowing pink liquid. She returned to the princesses and offered one to each, "I um, don't know what the royal policy is for drinking potions," She said nervously, "b-but I promise there's n-no poison or a-anything..."

Celestia laughed and grabbed the offered potion from Swirl's hand. "Oh, there's no need to be embarrassed." She said as her horn flashed briefly in sync with Luna's. "It's a valid question, but I assure you I would know." She winked.
A quick scan from her horn revealed the potion to be a relaxation potion exactly as Pamper Swirl had claimed.
She could sense no ill will from her and knew Swirl's mana-pool was shockingly small. Even if this kindness ended in a charade, she could be easily dealt with.

A quick calculation from Luna also allowed her to arrive at a similar conclusion. The seemingly unkept and creepy room would have been cause for more concern if Pamper Swirl had tried to separate the sisters but her openness and eagerness to be upfront about everything showed such fears were unfounded.

Pamper Swirl laughed and smiled at the sisters. She gestured to the beanbags in front of the screen. "Once you have taken the potions, make yourselves comfortable on the chairs. I will turn the screen on, play some relaxing music, and you two will drift off into pure relaxation!"

Luna raised an eyebrow at this, "Is that all?"

Pamper Swirl nodded, "Mhm! That's all you need to do."

"Mmmm, seems rather..."

"Ah ah," Celestia interjected. "Remember Luna, Unorthodox." The sun princess winked at her lunar counterpart.
Luna opened her mouth to retort but rolled her eyes in acknowledgment. "Right, unorthodox."

"Well," Celestia said, swirling the glass bottle around in her hand, causing the glowing liquid inside to slosh about. "Shall we?"

"Yes, we shall," Luna tossed her head back and downed the entire bottle of liquid in one gulp. Celestia did the same.

Pamper Swirl smirked as she watched the pink liquid slide down the sister's throats. Now the real plan could begin. Having experienced this before, Luna easily relaxed into the feelings and sensations that rushed through her body as a gentle tingle ran up her spine.

Celestia, on the other hand, was not ready for what happened to her. The instant the final drop slid down her throat, she felt a sharp tingling sensation rush up her spine just as Luna had. Her vision blurred as every muscle in her body immediately relaxed.

The sun princess felt herself slump involuntarily as her eyelids lidded over, gaining weight. Celestia tried and failed to keep them open. Her thoughts slowed to a crawl as the sound around her muffled, and she became vaguely aware of someone's horn igniting with magic.

She tried to open her mouth and ask if everything was alright, but her body refused to listen. She felt something gently grab her hand and guide her toward somewhere. Perhaps it was toward the beanbags she'd seen in front of the television. Then a voice pierced the hazy void of her mind.

"Strip."

The voice was feminine, warm, and comforting. Celestia couldn't help but be infatuated by it and obey its command. She slipped off her garments and tossed her jewelry to the side as her mind began to go blank. She felt a warm, fuzzy haze overtake what little thoughts remained.

"These will help you relax."

The princess could feel something soft being wrapped around her waist. What was this sensation? Some muffled crinkles rang out as she attempted to wiggle her mind free from the drowsiness the potion had given her. She only managed to open her eyes halfway as her mind sank deeper into relaxation.

"Relax..." Celestia repeated as she felt a drop of drool escape the corner of her mouth.

"Now sit."

Celestia obeyed and immediately collapsed. She expected to be met with a painful landing on the floor. Instead, she found herself sitting on a cloud. Or rather, what felt like a cloud. Now she must be sitting on the beanbag chair. A soft clicking noise rang out as the screen in front of her burst to life, flashbanging her vision with blooming pink and white light.

A large spiral with rapidly flashing text displayed itself on the screen. Celestia's mind was immediately overwhelmed by the visual stimulation. Her legs and arms turned to jelly as they felt like they weighed as much as lead, and her jaw immediately went slack as she began to drool.

What little thoughts remained disappeared completely as her mind tumbled into a mental vortex of pink lights, spirals, and complete relaxation. The text assaulted her mind, the lights attacked her vision, and a gentle voice battled what remained.

"You want to relax."

"I want to relax," Celestia repeated blankly.

"You need to obey."

"I need to obey."

"You are nothing more than a baby."

"I am nothing more than a baby."

"A helpless baby who loves to listen to and obey Mommy's Voice."

"I'm a helpless baby who loves to obey Mommy."

"That's right, good girl."

Celestia moaned as pleasurable tingling ran up her spine. Something about the voice filled her with arousal and need. She loved obeying, she loved being called a good girl, and she loved obeying Mommy. All memory of what she had been doing before vanished.

Hadn't she brought someone else here with her? What was her name again? She couldn't remember. Her mind was a hazy fuzz of abstract concepts and long-forgotten memories. All that mattered now was the voice and her willingness to obey. She should have done this sooner!

"You feel heavy, your bladder and bowels feel heavy."

Celestia groaned softly as her pelvis and bladder gained weight. Her stomach gurgled. She was now rooted to the beanbag, unable to move or think. Her body felt heavy and slow. Why was she holding on to so much stress? It would be so easy to let everything go and relax, freeing herself from this icky feeling.

"You hate this feeling. You hate feeling sluggish and heavy. Mommy wants you to feel good and relaxed. You need to obey Mommy."

"I need... I need to obey." The sun princess repeated as her tongue flopped limply from her mouth. She needed to relax. Mommy had ordered it. She hated feeling this way, the responsibility of maintaining her body, following social norms, and being stressed out and confused all day.

"Just let it go, go limp and relax. let it allllllllllllll out~"

Finally the damn burst. Celestia moaned as her entire lower body relaxed. All her stress, worry, and thoughts disappeared as her bladder relaxed allowing her piss to flow freely. A loud Pssssssssttttt rang out as a warmth spread between her legs.

The diaper taped around her waist crinkled as it swallowed up the warm liquid, and the weight in her pelvis evaporated. She felt amazing. Almost light as a feather. Her consciousness was clear, her body was relaxed, this was the kind of feeling she'd dreamed of experiencing for centuries.

There were no ponies to rule, no squabbles to crush, no enemy to fight. Just a blank fuzzy void and a warm fuzzy feeling between her legs. The sun princess's diaper crinkled softly as she wiggled in place on her beanbag chair completely oblivious to the world around her.

Her sister, Luna, sat just a few feet from her, experiencing the same thing. The front of her light blue diaper had long been stained yellow by the release of her bladder just seconds ago. Both were in immense bliss, feeling as if the weight of the world had been lifted from their shoulders.

But something remained, a gentle but intense weight in her stomach. Deep In her bowels. She needed to do something to get rid of it. But what? A series of confused babbles escaped her lips as Celestia felt her body sink deeper into the beanbag chair.

"Let go."

Frrrrttttttt

Celestia felt her ass relax as a small fart escaped her backside alleviating some of the pressure in her bowels. A strong desire to tense up and push flooded her mind. But she couldn't do so without Mommy's command. She needed it, she craved it, and she would obey.

"On the count of three, you will obey me and push out all remaining thoughts and memories of your time as ruler of this land. You will submit completely to me as your Mommy and Care Giver and be my adorable baby forever."

"Bwaaaaahhh!" Celestia and Luna babbled in union.

"1"

Celestia wiggled in anticipation while Luna scrunched up her face, preparing to push.

"2"

Celestia groaned as more gas escaped her body, alleviating more pressure. The sun princess's stomach gurgled once more as her bowels churned and her body begged her to push. She needed this; the pressure was building. This was the final step!

"3"

"Hrrnnnnnn!" Celestia groaned as her face scrunched up and her bowels tightened.

"And push!"

Celestia puffed out her cheeks as her fingers balled up into fists and she pushed as hard as she could. Pleasure surged through her body like lightning as her bowel muscles tensed up and released in an instant. Relief flooded over her as she felt a snake of warm mush curl around the backside of her diaper as it ballooned outward, and a horrid smell reached her nose.

It felt so good. A series of adorable grunts and groans escaped the princess's lips as all her thoughts were voided into the seat of her diaper. Any hope of free will or a chance of resistance disappeared in an instant. Her eyes rolled back in her head as her whole body went limp, and she flopped down like a puppet with its strings cut.

"Good girl!"

Pamper Swirl smiled softly at the two mindless princesses in front of her. The plan had worked flawlessly! Here now, she had the most powerful ponies in Equestria under her control! She giggled softly to herself as she turned the screen off, bathing the room in darkness.

She approached the two alicorns using the glow of her horn as a small light source. The two sisters gurgled and babbled softly as drool cascaded down their chests. They wiggled around in their messy diapers moaning and babbling as the warm mush pressed itself against their butts.

They were so adorable! It filled Pamper Swirl with joy to see them so mindless and carefree, devoid of all the royalness and yucky grownup traits they'd likely spent centuries acquiring. Who knew how old these two sisters were? Swirl supposed now no one would ever know.

Pamper Swirl approached the two princesses and kneeled between their two beanbags. "Don't you worry, little ones, Mommy is going to take good care of you~" She booped Luna playfully on the nose, eliciting a giggle.

"Let's get you two cleaned up~"

It took a bit of effort, but Pamper Swirl eventually managed to lift both Luna and Celestia out of the beanbag and place them on a changing table. Then she could begin the long process of changing their stinky diapers. Everything had gone perfectly to plan.

Pamper Swirl hummed as the rays of the morning sun beamed through the windows of her shop. It had been a long night cleaning up the princesses and securing them in their new home, but she had managed it. The streets were already bustling with ponies.

Some were rushing to work, others heading home from the night shift, and others were simply there to enjoy the morning air. No one knew of the fate of their princesses. Swirl would have closed up shop several hours ago, but she was waiting on confirmation from one pony in particular.

Almost as if on queue, a tall white male earth pony with green eyes and flowing chestnut blonde hair walked across the full length of the store windows before stopping at the door and stepping inside. This was the pony she'd been waiting for, and he was running behind.

"You're late," Swirl said absentmindedly, fiddling with the till of her cash register.

The pony looked down, shying away from her. "I-I'm sowy... I slept in a-a little..."

Pamper Swirl sighed, "You know how important this is to me, don't you?"

The earth pony's eyes widened as he nodded his head rapidly, "Y-yes of couwse!"

Pamper Swirl's eyes softened as she looked up from the cash register and smiled softly at the earth pony. "Good, very good. You've done well, Platinum."

Platinum beamed from the praise, a wide smile coating his face. "T-thank you! U-um... Did da pwincesses find your tweatment as rewaxing as I did?" He asked shyly.

"She certainly did," Pamper Swirl smirked, causing the stallion to squee happily.

Swirl laughed softly at the little ones' enthusiasm, "Alright alright calm down sweetie."

"Oop! Y-yesh Mommy... Sowie" Platinum said, rubbing the back of his head, embarrassed.

"Oh, it's quite alright Sweetie," Pamper said waving her hand dismissively, "Now we can move on to phase 2! Go on, spread the word, and prepare my throne room!"

"Yes, Mommy!" Platinum said giving a Pamper Swirl a sharp salute before bolting out the door.

Pamper Swirl giggled at the guard ponies' antics. They were such silly things, those guard ponies. But now was not the time for amusement; now was the time for action. She flipped the store sign from open to closed and headed to the back room once more.

She navigated the hallways of paper and clutter and eventually arrived at a wooden door. Opening it revealed a small nursery with two cribs. One of them was white with sun-like decorations, and the other was Blue with stars and lunar decorations. Above both was a small mobile of the solar system.

Both mobiles were constantly spinning. A music box played soft lullabies in the corner. Inside each crib was one of the princesses of Equestria clothed in naught but diapers, a bib, and a bonnet. Both were gurgling and drooling over themselves.

Luna had her arms high over her head, clawing playfully at the spinning mobile above. Celestia sat wiggling in place, giggling at every crinkle and pop her freshly changed diaper made. Their eyes were glassy and empty, a perfect reflection of the complete lack of thoughts in each one's head.

"How are my adorable babies doing this morning?" Pamper Swirl Cooed.

Celestia and Luna giggled happily, flailing their limbs around with little coordination.

Swirl laughed softly, rustling both of the regressed princesses' hair. "That's good to hear!"

Pamper Swirl would never get over how cute ponies who used to think they were adults were as babies. The way they cooed and flailed about with little to no motor control. How they eyed the world with such wonder and discovery, and she especially loved the little faces they made whenever they dumped their thoughts into their diapers.

Unfortunately, she couldn't admire her new little ones just yet. The plan had only just begun. She intended to rule Equestria; that was the whole point of this operation. Of course, she couldn't have done so before. The princesses were sure to try and stop her.

But that wouldn't be an issue anymore. She controlled everything about them, their thoughts, their clothes, the food they ate; it was all for her to decide. She had dreamed of this moment for years! But now that she had it, a new question bubbled up inside her.

How could she seize power like this? The moment ponies realized what she had done to their princesses, they would surely revolt. She lacked the power to tame them with fear, and that was such an undignified method of rulership anyway.
She needed stature, something that would make ponies revere her and be more open to accepting her new rule.

But how could she achieve this? Pamper Swirl mulled over this question for several minutes, feeling rather stumped. But as she watched Celestia try and fail to grab the mobile with her magic, a lightbulb went off in the unicorn's head.
The solution was simple, and it had been staring her in the face this whole time.

"Celestia? How would you feel about introducing a new Alicorn to the world?"

============================================================================= Chapter 2
=============================================================================
A chorus of bright lights fills the void, and magic swirls to and fro. The moon eclipses the sun as bright rays unhindered by the wrath of the stars bloom about its edges. There is a pony, a unicorn whose fur is shaded light purple, rising in a swirling vortex of color and sound

Hear the cries of the ancients as they chant and protest such an indignity occurring. They cry and scream in great protest, but must bestow upon her a gift that only one was supposed to have. Their masters, long hypnotized by the sweet sound of the mother's voice, have forced this indignity upon them.

The vortex collapses into a glowing star of power as shockwaves of light spew from its center. The unicorn smiles as wings sprout from her back and her horn grows in length. She feels power surging through her veins as the moon departs the sun and all is bathed in the afterglow of ascension.

Princess Twilight Sparkle hummed softly to herself as the train pulled into Ponyville Station. Her dark purple and blue hair flowed gently in the breeze. By her side were a series of suitcases and bags, most of which her assistant Spike had helped pack the night before.

Floating next to the alicorn was a scroll crowned with the royal seal. It was a letter from Princess Celestia requesting Twilight return to Canterlot for special training. Twilight had been shocked upon receiving the letter. Celestia hadn't sent her a formal sudden in years.

Twilight used to send Celestia letters all the time when she was Celestia's student, and she would occasionally receive letters back; however, it was not commonplace. Since Twilight's ascension, the princess of friendship had agreed to focus on Equestria first and her relationships second.

That being said, she would never ignore her friends. They were the ones who were always there for her and she knew they had each other's backs; however, they were also the elements of harmony, which meant she had more of an excuse to hang out with and check up on them.

Thoughts on her friends aside, the letter Twilight had received was a bit odd. It was surprisingly informal. Sure, the princess could be informal in person, shockingly so in Twilight's experience, but she was rarely that way in writing, mainly due to the paper trail.

In person, such acts of informality were only hearsay. Someone knew someone who heard from someone else that the princesses did something. Such claims were easily ignored or chopped up to false memory or a misrememberance. Letters could not be explained away so easily.

Official documents and letters to fellow royalty tended to be read over by someone or, at the very least, stored in the royal library for review later. Eventually, someone would read it and come asking questions. Then the sun goddess would be forced to explain it somehow.

The blatant informality within her "formal summons" to Canterlot Castle was an odd choice. The princess had always been careful about this, and it caused some concern to well up inside Twilight upon first read. Of course, the purple alicorn had thrown a mini-panic attack upon seeing the words "Formal Summon" at the top of the letter.

Spike had had the joy of snapping her out of that, but the question remained. Should she be worried? This was very out of character for her, Princess Celestia. Perhaps the princess was going through a rough patch. It had been several months since their last get-together, and Twilight knew the royal life tended to be lonely.

For a duo as old and wise as Celestia and Luna. How many friends had they lost over the centuries? How many ponies had they forgotten the faces of? It was something Twilight found herself occasionally mulling over but always shelved. She didn't want to think about it.

The sound of steam blasting and the screeching of tires against train tracks pulled Twilight from her thoughts. The train to Canterlot had arrived. The doors burst open, blasting the humid air with a cool release of air conditioning. It was time to embark. Twilight took a deep breath, grabbed her luggage, and marched aboard.

The train ride to Canterlot was pleasant but uneventful. The princess had spent most of it staring out the window, watching the lush landscape of Equestria zoom past the windows before settling in with a good book on arcane theory. Magic was one of her favorite subjects.

After several hours, the tall spiral towers of Canterlot Castle peaked over the horizon as the train pulled into the station. Twilight was forced to stop reading mid-chapter, which always annoyed her. She tucked the book into her luggage and prepared to exit the carriage as the train's intercom crackled to life.

"Thank you for riding the Canterlot Express! We hope you enjoy your stay at Canterlot Castle, and we cannot wait to serve you upon your departure! Have fun and welcome to the city of the sun!"

The doors slid open as the train stopped, revealing Canterlot Station. It looked nothing like how Twilight remembered it. The usual gold and purple color scheme had seemingly been abandoned and replaced by a bright white, red, yellow, and blue color scheme.

The usual pompous and overly expressive artwork lining the walls had been replaced by kindergarten drawings and crayon scribbles. A pink material had replaced the signs of mahogany wood, and the flagrant script engraved on the signs had been replaced by barely legible crayon markings.

Twilight stood shocked. Several passengers wandered off the train, seemingly oblivious to the stark changes around them. What had happened to Canterlot? Was this some form of elaborate prank? Is this why the princess had called her to Canterlot, for a laugh?

Twilight's mind raced with questions that she quickly pushed aside. Before she jumped to any conclusions or let her mind run into panic mode, she needed to find the princess. She was certain all of her questions would be answered then. But why such theatrics?

As Twilight stepped off the train, marched down the pier, and entered the city proper, her eyes surveyed the station. A childish atmosphere and decorations drenched the city. Ponies of all types wandered from place to place, oblivious to the absurdity around them.

How could this be? Was this their new normal? Twilight hadn't been absent from Canterlot that long, had she? She knew Celestia and Luna had planned to overhaul the city's aesthetic in the coming years, but this seemed like a bit much. Kindergarten drawings? Crayon scribbles?

After climbing a flight of stairs, Twilight arrived at the main gates and was again caught by surprise. The gold and purple buildings had been replaced with light pink and purple color schemes and other simple colors. Water-painted hands, giant alphabet blocks, and other childish decorations littered the streets.

The street signs ancient scripts and complicated calligraphy, had been crossed out and clumsily painted over with dry-erase markers and crayons as if children had been instructed to build a city. Hundreds of ponies filled the streets, clumsily shuffling between each other.

A few tripped over their feet, letting out loud babbles of embarrassment and frustration as Twilight walked past. The purple alicorn soaked in the now foreign city, making a beeline for the royal Castle. A faint melody massaged Twilight's ears as she navigated the sea of ponies filling the streets.

It was neither memorable enough to comment on nor loud enough to be concerning. Yet in secret, her mind was soaking up a message even the powerful alicorn of friendship could never comprehend. Twilight was almost certain this was one of Celestia's pranks.

The timing was perfect, the sun goddess had invited her here for "special training" only to catch her in an elaborate city-wide prank. Despite how improbable it sounded, Twilight knew Celestia could pull it off. She had heard stories from Luna regarding some of her sister's antics.

This was right up Celestia's alley. Getting everyone in on an elaborate prank to catch the princess of friendship off guard. She half expected one of the ponies next to her to break out into a 'Welcome to Canterlot' song announcing to everyone else the prank was over.

And boy was the princess laying it on thick with this one. Everyone around her was waddling, their legs spread a little further apart than they should be. They wore their usual attire, but the mid-sections appeared bulkier than normal, and Twilight swore she heard a gentle crinkling every time someone passed by.

What in Equestria was that sound? It was starting to drive her crazy! Furthermore, why was no one talking to her? Normally, at least ten reporters and bystanders would have swarmed her by now, but most ponies didn't seem to acknowledge her presence, let alone her status.

Perhaps this was a small blessing of the prank. Twilight wished ponies would act like this everywhere she went. Being fawned over was fun; however, some ponies took it too far. After a bit of walking, the familiar spires of the castle came into view, and excitement swelled inside Twilight as she approached.

It would be amazing to see her friend and former mentor again. She had been invited under the guise of special training, but Twilight doubted their time would be dominated by said activity. Celestia needed an excuse to bring her here that the nobles wouldn't question. Special training was a perfect guise, and nobody would suspect a thing.

Twilight flashed her wings to the guards as she approached the gate. Realizing who she was, they quickly granted her entry and ushered her inside. The purple alicorn was then escorted to the central hallway. It was while they walked that Twilight noticed more oddities.

Similar childish scribbles to the ones present in the city coated the walls, and several of the stained glass windows depicting Equestria's finest moments had been crossed out or appeared to be edited. This elicited an eyebrow raise from Twilight, which only rose higher as she noticed a quirk in the guard's uniforms.

Their uniforms had remained the same as she had always remembered them, with the shining gold and iron armor set and fluffy overzealous headpiece; however, it was bulkier in the midsection, similar to everyone's outfits in the city. They all were waddling similarly to everyone on the main street instead of the normal regal walk she was used to.

Twilight knew the princesses could be mischievous, and had heard thousands of stories from Luna, but this was elaborate. She half expected Celestia or Luna to jump out of a potted plant and yell "Surprise!" at any moment like one of those comically stupid reality TV shows.

Eventually, the procession arrived at the large golden doors leading to the throne room. Most of her escorts returned to their post with the usual blank expressions adorning their faces. However, one stayed. "I'll beesh wite back." The guard said with a dopey smile before he slipped through the golden doors with a giggle.

Twilight couldn't help but laugh. Celestia must have offered them an insane amount of bits or a promotion for them to change their speech pattern. Perhaps if her brother Shining Armor were present and guiding her into the city as he used to, she would understand, but surely no one else would be willing to pull a prank this stupid for this long without breaking!

Twilight smiled as she tried to imagine what her brother would do if he were there. She reasoned He would've cracked by now. She knew he could keep a mean poker face, but she was positive the baby-talk would've made him at least snort or be unable to get through with a straight face.

After several minutes, the door cracked open, and the guard pony poked his head out. "The pwincessh will see you now." He babbled as he pushed the door open and held it for her, gesturing for the alicorn to enter. Twilight rolled her eyes but complied with a nod.

The second she stepped beyond the door, an absurdly loud crash rang out as the guard pony slammed the large golden door behind her, sending a flurry of echoes and sound through the large hall. Twilight jumped in place but quickly calmed herself. That was strange, but not the weirdest thing she had encountered today.

Thankfully, nothing appeared to have changed about the royal throne room. It was the same regal gold and purple hallway she'd always known. Stained glass windows lined the walls, depicting some of Equestria's greatest triumphs. Her battle against discord, the reignition of the elements of harmony, and her ascension. It brought with it waves of memories.

The princess spent some time marveling at the stained glass depictions and reminisced on old times. She was in no rush, and Celestia wouldn't rush her. They had all the time in the world. She had come so far and accomplished so much. Yet her journey wasn't over. There was more history to be written!

The friendship map and the defeat of Chrysalis, both at the wedding and with Thorax's coronation, had unlocked a well of infinite possibility. What dangers lay ahead, Twilight didn't know, but she was confident she and her friends were up for the challenge.

"Baa baa!"

Twilight's internal musing was interrupted as gentle babbling and giggling reached her ears. What in Equestria was that? Her ears swiveled in the direction of the sound. It was coming from the end of the throne room. Her nostalgia-forgotten Twilight resumed her walk toward the royal sister's thrones.

The babbling and giggling grew louder the closer she got, and a strange sense of dread welled inside the purple alicorn as she neared the final pillar. Upon turning the corner, her dread exploded into full-blown shock. Scattered about the throne room were hundreds of children's toys.

Alphabet blocks, kindergarten books, puzzles, crayons, and more littered the floor. Pacifiers and baby rattles lay about as well. Sitting in the middle of the mess of baby toys and attire was none other than Princess Celestia and Princess Luna. Twilight was baffled.

The princess's regal attire was nowhere to be found. Instead, both wore a bib, booties, mittens, and a fluffy multicolored diaper. The sun princess's pamper was white with a sun engraved on the front, while Luna wore a dark blue, almost purple pamper with the moon crested on the front.

Both were gurgling and drooling like babies, and their eyes had swirlies over their pupils. Both had a distant look in their eyes as if all their thoughts were a million miles away.

"Well, well, well, look who finally arrived~" A feminine voice broke Twilight from shock as she realized someone was sitting on Celestia's throne. "What do you think of my city?~"

Twilight's mouth flapped like a fish out of water, but no words came out. Thousands of questions raced through her mind. The alicorn in front of her was light purple with a pink and black mane, her wings spread lazily over the back of the throne. She wore a red velvet dress with gold-encrusted edges.

The outfit draped over her curvy form with ease, showing off her voluptuous assets and Celestia's crown sat proudly atop her head. The scene was wrong on so many levels. Celestia and Luna were smart intelligent mares not the babbling buffoons sprawled out in front of her.

If this was a prank, then they had taken things too far.

"oijsdfoisjdfjos who? What? Huh?" Twilight fumbled out, still at a loss.

Pamper Swirl laughed, placing a hand daintily on her cheek. "I feel I must thank you, princess, well, you and your peers." She gestured to Celestia and Luna, who had busied themselves wetting their diapers with soft moans.

"Without your sun princess and magic, I wouldn't have been able to ascend."

Twilight's face scrunched in disgust as she watched the fronts of Celestia and Luna's diapers bulge outward. Their accident quickly stained them permanently. It was starting to sink in that this wasn't a prank anymore, as Twilight had thought. This was a full-blown takeover.

Slowly, the pieces began to fall into place as the strange alicorn continued her monologue. "But now that I have." The Pamper Swirl grinned, "I can finally give Equestria what it has always needed."

"And what would that be?" Twilight asked, tensing up.

This was quickly morphing into a delicate situation. Twilight hadn't been prepared to battle a new foe on what was supposed to be a quiet visit with Celestia. From the looks of things, the princesses had already fallen to whatever power this stranger possessed.

This was her first and only chance to obtain information. Hopefully, she could discover what she needed and send a message to her friends before it was too late. She didn't know what this unknown alicorn intended to do, but she was certain whatever it was wouldn't be good.

"A mother." Pamper Swirl responded with a wide smile and a flare of her wings. "Someone to care for them and ensure those naughty griffons and dragons overseas can never hurt their little feelings again!" Swirl squeed, giving herself a tight hug. "You understand, don't you, princess?"

The response caught Twilight off guard. A mother? A caregiver? What was this alicorn talking about? Equestria was a strong nation where friendship abounded and hardship was a distant memory. They already had a caring and benevolent ruler in Princess Celestia!

They didn't need this impostor taking Celestia's crown and claiming to do what she had already done for centuries! Twilight wanted nothing more than to ignite her horn and blast this villain into oblivion. However, she stopped herself. A brief magic scan revealed a terrible truth.

The hostile alicorn's mana well was massive. She was sitting on immense power. So much so that it rivaled Twilight's. If the princess of friendship started an engagement now, there was a high chance they would be evenly matched or worse, she'd lose. She needed more information.

"But why-" Twilight's question was interrupted mid-sentence as Pamper Swirl ignited her horn and fired a condensed beam of magic straight into Twilight's forehead. It happened so fast that Twilight's brain took a second to register what had happened as she fell into unconsciousness.

Twilight groaned as she slowly opened her eyes. Her head pulsed with a gentle ache. What had just happened? Where was she? What had she been doing? She couldn't remember. Then, in a flash, her memories returned. The strangeness in Canterlot, the new alicorn, Celestia and Luna babbling on the floor!

Twilight bolted upright, ready to continue the fight, only to realize she wasn't in the throne room anymore. She was sitting at a school desk in a small to medium-sized classroom. Alphabet blocks, rattles, baby bottles, and other childish toys lined the floor.

A series of large flat-screen televisions lined the walls around her, and a chalkboard sat before her with the phrase 'I'm a dumb diaper dumper' written in repeated lines across its surface. The phrase caused Twilight's mind to race. What was this place?

"h-hello?" Twilight called out.

"Ah, I see you're finally awake~," A familiar feminine voice said behind her.

Twilight whirled around and saw the Alicorn from the throne room approaching her. A scowl exploded across Twilight's face as she attempted to ignite her horn, only for the magic to fizzle out. She tried to move but found she had been tied to the desk.

"I wouldn't try that if I were you~" The alicorn tsked, waving her finger at Twilight in a "Nuh-uh" motion.

Confused and afraid, Twilight gazed upward and saw a magic suppression wrapped tightly around her horn. That would explain the lack of magic. But what was with all this? Why was she still alive? Moreover, why this room? This was a standard kindergarten classroom minus the screens.

"I imagine you're wondering why you're here, perhaps you think I'm a dictator come to take Equestria by force." She cupped Twilight's chin with her hand. "But I assure you that is not why I'm here, I would never hurt one of my little ponies!" She gasped, feigning horror.

"Then why are you?" Twilight asked, her eyes narrowing.

"Ah ah ah!" Swirl said, giving Twilight a gentle slap on the cheek. "Don't use that tone around me, young lady!" She said, causing rage to boil up inside Twilight.
Who did this alicorn think she was? She wasn't Twilight's mother, nor was she a caregiver. She was a dictator and an impostor!

She hadn't earned the throne like Celestia and Luna had, nor had she earned the right to treat Twilight, the princess of friendship, like a child. Twilight berated herself internally for holding back and not starting a confrontation the second she realized something was amiss.

"You're not m-" Twilight began, but was cut off.

"I want you to be something, Twilight." Pamper Swirl said with a giggle, "I want you to be my good, obedient little girl just like the princesses; however, you can't be that if you have those annoying big girl thoughts bouncing around in your head~"
The alicorn smiled gently and moved toward one of the televisions.

"Huh?!" Twilight blurted out in confusion. Big girl thoughts? Good girl? What did any of that mean? She had battled Tirek, wrestled bug queens, and subdued gods of chaos. Did this alicorn see her as nothing more than a little girl? Twilight would be sure she regretted underestimating her!

Whatever trickery Pamper Swirl was about to unveil, Twilight was certain it would fail. She steeled herself mentally. She had survived worse than this and battled far greater foes. This childish room and wannabe mother were no match for her. Eventually, she would slip up, and Twilight would seize her chance!

"Now be a good girl, and go mindless~," Pamper Swirl said with a warm tone and a soft smile as she flicked a switch, and every television in the room roared to life. Twilight's eyes were immediately assaulted by bright pink light as words and spirals flooded her vision.

Her mind instantly shattered, assaulted by a million messages and commands all telling her to obey her Mommy, Pamper Swirl. This wasn't magic, this wasn't torture, it was something else entirely, a tactic the princess of friendship had never encountered before.

Her thoughts were coated in a gentle, relaxing haze as her mind tumbled into a spiraling vortex of relaxation, obedience, and submission. The purple alicorn felt herself go limp in her chair as drool cascaded down her chest and her bladder grew heavy.

"You want to be a good girl."

Twilight grunted as she felt her clothes being pulled off, exposing her skin to the cool air.

"You want to regress and become mindless."

Twilight babbled in agreement as all memories of words, speech, and grown-up conversation disappeared. She loved Mommy, and she loved obeying. She wanted to be just like Celestia and Luna. A babbling, drooling idiot who couldn't care for herself!

"You love diapers, you can't live without them."

Twilight moaned softly as she felt something soft and fluffy wrap around her waist. It was as if she were sitting on a fluffy cloud. What little worries remained quickly floated away as her mind relaxed into the seat of her diaper. She loved this feeling; she loved being mindless.

"Your bladder is heavy and ready to release."

"Hnnnggggg!" Twilight grunted as her pelvis gained weight, rooting her in place. She felt so heavy and sluggish, like she was wading through a pool of molasses. She needed to let go, she needed to release and free herself from this weighted prison. She needed to relax and let it all go.

"Now be a good girl and let it alllllllll go."

Pssssssssssshhhhhhhhh

"Good girl~"

Rainbow Dash smiled as she pulled her freshly pressed Wonderbolt uniform from her locker. She needed to be at the training field in 5 however, she wanted to take a few seconds and admire her uniform. She had received a letter from Spitfire several days ago inviting her to a personal training session with the Wonderbolts.

It was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that Rainbow Dash couldn't pass up! So she had packed her bags, had a farewell party with her friends, and headed off to Cloudsdale! As usual, she had boarded up with her parents while staying in the Cloud City, which was always a challenge.

But Rainbow Dash was certain she would handle it better than last time. Her parents had always been her number one fan, sometimes to her detriment, but she knew they meant well. Even if they got in the way and caused more hassle than necessary, she would always appreciate how much they believed in her.

Luckily for her, the schedules had worked out so that they would be out of town during her training session. This meant they wouldn't be attending the show as audience members, and Rainbow Dash was free to be herself without her parents accidentally dragging down her image.

Spitfire had given her a full tour of the new and improved Wonderbolt training academy. It had certainly changed a lot since her last visit. The slick and colorful designs had been replaced with childish decor. At least that's what Rainbow Dash thought of it.

It almost looked like they'd let several kindergarteners come in and decorate the facility. She assumed it was some form of charity promotion; the Wonderbolts had done that many times before to great success. The place would look silly for a couple of weeks, but ultimately would return to normal.

That was to be expected with any charity event; however, there was a slight curveball Rainbow Dash hadn't expected, and it had to do with Rainbow Dash's new uniform. After the tour, Spitfire had given her the new uniform. It appeared identical to her old one; however, a diaper had been included.

This had confused Rainbow when she'd discovered it in the packaging. When she asked Spitfire about it, the fiery pegasus had given a surprisingly logical answer. It was to avoid instances where someone needed to go to the restroom but couldn't due to the show schedule.

Nobody wanted to use it. It was a last resort, but the option was there. Rainbow Dash had been satisfied with the answer, but the idea of wearing a pamper still embarrassed her greatly. She blushed as she slipped into it and fastened the rest of the uniform around her.
It was strangely fluffy and comfortable, far more than she had expected.

The diaper had a spiral design that swirled into the center of the pamper when worn. It was mesmerizing to stare at. But why had they put a design on the diaper at all? From what she understood, the diaper would never be visible. Why bother designing it?

"Dash! Dash! Are you in here?!" Fleetfoot's voice tore Rainbow from her internal questioning as she banged on the side of some lockers.

"Yeah, I'm here!" Rainbow shouted back, quickly tightening the rest of the uniform around her body. Fleetfoot was always annoying, but a glance at the clock revealed Rainbow was already five minutes late!

"What are you waiting for then? An invitation!" Fleetfoot barked. "We've been waiting for you! Hurry it up!"

"Yeah, yeah, I'm there, Sorry!" Rainbow rolled her eyes as she slammed her locker shut and raced to the training ground.

Soon, all the Wonderbolts had been assembled, and Rainbow Dash found herself standing in a line of Wonderbolts and trainees in front of the usual obstacle course. Spitfire paced back in front of them, shouting her usual speech about brotherhood and team unity.

Rainbow Dash had heard it thousands of times before; however, there was a slight oddity among the group.

Everyone else had their pampers on full display. None of them had equipped the lower garments meant to cover it up. It was bizarre, to say the least especially since whenever she looked down she got a face full of spiral butt.
Maybe everyone else wasn't with the program, or they were used to it.
She was joining them a bit late after all. Spitfire quickly wrapped up her speech and ordered all the trainees to assemble themselves in the standard take-off position.
Rows of two going back eight rows.

Rainbow Dash quickly moved into formation, finding herself dead in the middle of all the rows, preparing for take-off. It was a simple routine; they would all take off and soar into the air, forming a massive heart with their bodies before shooting outward.

Each Wonderbolt would leave a trail of clouds in their wake, making it appear the heart had exploded outward. It was basic and boring, but always fun to pull off. Rainbow Dash narrowed her eyes and stared intently at the ponies in front of her, waiting for the takeoff signal.

The trick only worked if everyone staggered their take-off. If they all took off at once, people wouldn't realize what the shape was until it was too late. Taking off in shifts allowed the shape to fully form before exploding and gave the audience a fantastic spectacle.

However, this presented an issue. Since everyone else had taken their lower garments off except her, and most were arched ready for take-off, Rainbow Dash was getting an eyeful of spiraled behinds staring back at her. A blush of embarrassment flushed her cheeks as she realized she was staring, but she couldn't help it.

The pattern was mesmerizing in a way she couldn't quite describe. Especially when the pony in front of her moved. The way their hips moved and twirled relative to the rest of them made it incredibly hard to focus on anything else. Her mind was growing fuzzier by the second.

Rainbow Dash felt a rush of wind behind her as several ponies shot into the air. Then wind slapped the front of her face as the two rows in front of her shot into the air. Seconds later, Rainbow Dash felt herself leaving the ground as she soared upwards.

Her eyes were glued to the spiraled rump of the pony above her. She needed to stare at it, to obey its every command. As the blue pegasus soared through the air toward the spiral diaper, her mind cleared of all worry and thought. The routine now completely forgotten, she bulleted toward the fluffy, comforting diaper.

Nothing else mattered, not even the Wonderbolts. She needed to obey the spiral. She needed to feel the thick, warm padding of her fellow Wonderbolt's diaper against her face. She was a good girl!

Rarity hummed daintily as she switched the open sign to closed at the carousel boutique. It had been a long day, several ponies had passed through the boutique, their needs ranging from repairs to custom dress orders. Rarity had kept a long sheet of orders that now lay sprawled across her work desk.

"Phew." The white unicorn said, rubbing her hair gently with a hand. "What a day!"

Sweetie Belle wouldn't be home until tomorrow. She and the rest of the CMC had agreed to have a sleepover tonight, which allowed Rarity to have the place all to herself for once. Normally, she would jump to work on the new orders in an attempt to get ahead; however, she felt strangely drained from today.

Deciding work could wait for once, Rarity moved to a nearby chair and plopped down on it. She sighed with relief. It felt great to be off her feet after such a long day. Perhaps she would make some tea or catch up on some soap operas. She hadn't had a night to herself like this in ages.

Unfortunately for the exhausted fashionista, her night was destined to be interrupted as a series of knocks came from the door.

"Oh goodness me." Rarity huffed quickly, getting to her feet and heading to the door. Someone must be trying to get a late order in after closing. Well, not today! She was going to relax by golly! She opened the door with a swift, practiced motion and poked her head out.

"My deepest apologies, darling, but we're closed for the evening. If you'd like to place an order, please return tomorrow morn- eep!" Rarity's eyes went wide as saucers as she froze mid-sentence. Standing in front of her was none other than a light purple alicorn with pink and black hair.

Rarity stared, mouth agape, as her mouth flapped, saying nothing. "Buh buh buh buh Your Majesty!" She blurted out with a blush of embarrassment. "Forgive me, I didn't realize you were here?" The white unicorn said with some uncertainty.
At first, she had thought the alicorn was Twilight, but quickly realized it wasn't.

Rarity wasn't sure who this was. Perhaps this was a new princess of something, perhaps this was an impostor, or maybe it was an ancient evil manifesting in front of her. Rarity had no way of knowing. And besides, if this new alicorn was a threat, Twilight or the princesses would have told her by now.

Until she was certain of this new alicorn's intentions, she would be proper and hospitable. After all, she hadn't known about Luna when she first met her friends, and being an element of harmony meant this wasn't the first time some long-forgotten magical being had shown up at her door.

"Oh! Where are my manners!" Rarity laughed, embarrassed, "Please, please come inside!" She stepped asid,e gesturing for the alicorn to enter.

The alicorn flashed her a gentle smile as she entered the boutique, "Thank you, Rarity."

Once inside, Pamper Swirl positioned herself in the center of the room as Rarity scrambled to find a chair or couch for her royal guest. "Forgive me, Your Highness." She said, flustered. "I wasn't expecting someone of your stature to visit me tonight! I wasn't aware there was a new alicorn in the courts!"

Pamper Swirl laughed softly and waved her hand dismissively, "Oh, it's no trouble at all, Sweetie. I admit I am a recent addition; however, I did not visit you this evening to discuss politics." Pamper Swirl lazily eyed the many dresses and sewing materials lining Rarity's workspace.

Rarity hummed in response, processing the statement. A casual visit from an alicorn was certainly a surprise. She would have expected as much from her dear friend Twilight or perhaps Princess Celestia; however, this alicorn was a stranger to her.

As the fashionista's train of thought continued, a potential reason popped into her head. She opened her mouth to say something, but was cut off by the mysterious alicorn, "And fear not, Equestria is not in danger, quite the contrary, I am here to request a favor of you on the princess's behalf."

Rarity sighed relieved as Pamper Swirl's horn began to glow with the tell-tale sign of magic. "Oh, what a relief! Well, darling, I am always ready and willing to provide my services to the crown! What is their request, if I may ask?" The fashionista relaxed, assuming she was in the company of friends.

"Oh, it's rather simple." Pamper Swirl said idly, waving her hand in front of her face poshly. "They've decided you're too smart for your own good~"

Pamper Swirl's horn flared a bright pink and purple as immense magic surged through it. Rarity blinked, frozen in place as her mind processed the statement. Confusion erupted across her face as magic flooded the room. Rarity might not be Twilight Sparkle, but even she could detect the potency of this magic.

The magic swirled about the room in a spiral pattern as small particles of pink and purple rose from the floor, causing Rarity to back up from the alicorn with concern. Whatever this spell was, it was powerful and blindingly bright. Rarity moved to shield her eyes.

"Y-your highness? What are yo-"

Rarity's question was interrupted as with a flash of bright pink light, all thought was gone.

A dopey smile exploded across Rarity's face as her eyes rolled back in her head and her mind shattered, sending thousands of disconnected thoughts and memories flying into a black abyss never to be seen again. Her legs turned to jelly as she collapsed onto the floor.

Her tongue rolled limply out of her mouth as she was encased in bright pink magic and gently lifted slightly off the ground. A fluffy cyan and blue diaper with the symbol of her cutie mark embroidered onto it appeared in a puff of pink smoke and was quickly fashioned about her waist.

"Rarity deary," Pamper Swirl said as she gently laid the element of generosity on the floor of the boutique. "I want you to make me a line of diapers, fancy royal diapers with class and elegance of design only you can muster! I want them so beautiful that everyone will simply have to wear them!"

"Buhhhhh...." Rarty drooled in response as her regressed mind failed to process the words and request of her new Mommy. Pamper Swirl knew Rarity lacked the mental capacity to understand her request, but she didn't care. She loved watching dumb little diaper dumpers pretend to understand grown-up words!

They were always so adorable when they were like this. When the time came for her to request this from her new fashion Pamper Swirl would grant her some level of thought and coordination before taking it away once the task was complete, as a good mother should.

"Can you do that for me, Sweetie?" Pamper Swirl asked as she leaned forward with a smirk and gave the dumb, drooling unicorn a few reassuring pats on the head.

"Bwaaaahhh! Yesh Mamma!" Rarity gurgled with a slow nod as drool rolled from her mouth, and her tiny, regressed mind failed to form coherent sentences.

"Thatta girl!" Swirl cooed as she stood and made for the exit of Carousel Boutique. That had gone better than expected!

Fluttershy yawned tiredly as Pinkie Pie bounced excitedly beside her at the Ponyville train station. It had been several days since Twilight visited the princess, Rarity had gone on vacation, and Rainbow Dash had flown off to Cloudsdale. The friend group hadn't been this separated in ages.

It had been strange not seeing their friends around town. It had taken a few days of adaptation, but the pair had gotten used to it and decided to use their friend's brief departures as an excuse to meet one-on-one and explore Ponyville. It had been challenging at first.

Fluttershy was an introvert who preferred the quiet life of her cottage with the occasional visit from Discord to a party with lots of ponies. But after a few days, she felt she was finally starting to understand the enigma that was Pinkie Pie. Sure, she could be a handful.

Over energetic, quirky, and sometimes downright random, however, underneath it all was a true sweetheart who loved to throw parties and have fun with her friends. The only one of their friends who had remained in Ponyville was Applejack, but she was busy running Sweet Apple Acres.

It was peak season, and the farm girl was as busy as ever, bucking trees and harvesting apples. Fluttershy knew Rainbow Dash would appreciate the work when she returned and found drums upon drums of sweet apple cider. That girl was addicted!

All of this led to today, standing on the pier of the Ponyville train station at six in the morning, surrounded by luggage. Yesterday, while Fluttershy and Pinkie had been enjoying themselves at the sugar cube corner, they received a scroll from Twilight.

She had invited them to Canterlot for a brief vacation, fully paid for by the princesses, to catch up and discuss potential opportunities to spread friendship across Equestria in the coming years. According to the note, all of their friends had received similar invitations.

Rainbow Dash had accepted, Twilight was already there, and even Applejack had agreed to attend despite her busy schedule. Pinkie Pie was ecstatic at the idea and almost vibrated through the floor with excitement upon reading the letter. It had taken several minutes for Fluttershy to calm her down.

The usual warning to stand clear of the tracks blared as the train pulled into the station, letting up large puffy clouds of steam as it slowed to a stop. The pair grabbed their luggage, entered the train, and with a toot of the train whistle, they were off toward Canterlot.

"Oh, isn't this exciting, Fluttershy?!" Pinkie Pie asked excitedly as the pair entered their cabin and sat near the window. "We get to see all our friends and visit the princess and catch up and-" She gasped. "Oh, maybe we could throw a surprise party and surprise everyone, oh we gotta oh we gotta!"

Fluttershy sighed exasperated as she placed her luggage in the designated compartment. "Pinkie Pie, please." She said tiredly, "It's too early for this, and I haven't had my morning tea yet."

"Ooh, sorry, Flutters!" Pinkie said with a nod before immediately ignoring the tired Pegasus' request and bursting into another rant about how excited she was and a potential plan to throw a welcome to Canterlot Party for their friends and anyone else who wanted to join.

Fluttershy rolled her eyes and smiled at her friend. She knew she couldn't stop the pink party pony, but Fluttershy didn't mind. Sure, she was tired and wanted nothing more than to go back to sleep; however, the steady droning of Pinkie's voice was calming in a way.

That and the music playing through the train speakers. She had been so distracted by Pinkie Pie and getting their luggage on board that she'd barely noticed it; however, a simple, gentle melody, almost like a lullaby, was playing in the background. It was gentle but catchy, and Fluttershy quietly hummed it to herself.

It was quite mesmerizing, actually. The music felt warm and fussy in her brain, worming its way into her ears and making her relax. She watched the rooftops of Ponyville fly past the train window. Fluttershy was so engrossed in the music that she failed to realize Pinkie Pie had stopped talking long ago.

Seconds bled into minutes, then to hours as Fluttershy's mind sank under the influence of the music, she felt her body relaxing in a state of pure bliss as Pinkie Pie slumped over and started drooling, quickly joining her in her tired, relaxed state.
After what felt like an eternity, one of the train ponies entered their cabin and placed a small spiral screen in front of the girls.

Fluttershy felt a smile spread across her face as the pink and purple vortex enraptured her mind and carefully plucked all remaining thoughts from her head as her jaw went slack and she began to drool like her friend. A fuzzy haze coated her mind as all thought slipped away, and the pair silently enjoyed their ride.

Several hours later, the train pulled into Canterlot Station.
The ponies known as Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie were no more, their brains having caved to the subtle music and hypnotic sounds long ago. With spirals in their eyes and loaded diapers sagging between their legs, the newly regressed pair of babs exited the train in search of a caregiver and a change.

The sun beamed down on Sweet Apple Acres, reflecting off the dewy leaves and shiny red apples of the orchard. Applejack smiled as she wiped the sweat from her brow and adjusted her Stetson. Nothing felt better than doing good work, and today was a packed day.

This season had yielded some of the biggest ripest apples the farm had seen in years, and Applejack intended to leave no tree unbucked! Applebloom was chipping in with the CMC using some new gadget to harvest trees quickly, Big Mac was working overtime, and even Granny Smith was chipping in!

Yes indeed, it was shaping up to be an incredible harvest! Applejack had finished harvesting the south fields just yesterday and intended to finish at least 1/2 of the Western field today. Everything was going great! Applejack smiled as she pulled her apple cart into the west field.

Her smile faded quickly as she spotted something unusual hanging from one of her trees.

"What in tarnation?!" Applejack Hollard as she dropped the handles of her apple cart, causing several apples to go tumbling over the side.

Someone or something had replaced all the bright, juicy apples of her trees with pink, fluffy diapers. Applejack had never seen something so insulting in her life! She growled, stomping over to the tree in question and giving it a hard shake. The diapers shook but refused to fall.

This had Rainbow Dash written all over it! She was always a prankster, but this had taken things too far. Once she got these diapers down from her trees, she intended to give that mare a piece of her mind! With a huff of annoyance, the farm pony kicked the tree as hard as she could.

It shook violently, but the diapers refused to budge. Applejack threw her arms up in the air, exasperated, "Now ah've seen some mighty clever pranks in 'y day, but this is ridiculous!" She'd battled some stubborn apples in her day but they had never been able to resist her for long.

She had just bucked the tree the hardest she could, and still these 'diaper fruits' wouldn't budge! The farm pony growled with annoyance and gave the tree another buck. Again, it resisted with only its leaves rustling defiantly. "Now you listen 'ere!' She spat, pointing an accusatory finger at the tree.

"Ah'm gonna give ya one 'ore buck and you best drop them disgraces ya hear?!"

The tree said nothing in response as it was a tree; however, that was all Applejack needed to hear. With a grunt of effort, she readied her bucking leg and sucking in a deep breath released the most powerful buck she could muster. A small shockwave rushed up the trunk of the tree.

The leaves shook violently as the branches thrashed about in protest, but the intended result happened. One by one, the insulting diaper fruits snapped from their positions and plummeted toward the ground. "Yeee haw!' Applejack celebrated by waving her hat around in the air.

"Thas what ya get, ya no good prank fruits!" She shouted with a smirk.

Her victory was short-lived as the diapers fell from the tree and exploded into clouds of pink smoke upon hitting the ground, sending clouds of dust and magic swirling wildly in all directions. It all happened so fast that Applejack couldn't cover her face in time.

The dust rushed Applejack's nostrils and airways, causing the farm pony to drop her iconic stetson and enter a coughing fit lasting several minutes. She could feel a chemical reaction surging through her body as her mind clouded, and she collapsed onto the ground.

Her hand-eye coordination and motor control evaporated as a wave of relaxation and fuzziness drowned out all her thoughts, and her mind fell into a void of pink and purple smoke. Her tongue rolled limply from her mouth as she let out an adorable, "Bwaaaahhhh!"

Her arms flailed wildly as the farm pony's eyes swirled over, and all conscious thought fled from her. The element of honesty had fallen.

"And that is why diapers are amazing." Pamper Swirl said with a giggle as she looked up from her throne. Surrounding her were both the princesses and all six elements of harmony, babbling and gurgling happily in their diapers and silly baby outfits.

Some wore bonnets, others shook rattles and squeaky toy hammers about with little coordination, and even more were drooling. Pamper Swirl smiled widely as she eyed them all. It had taken several weeks, but her plan had worked perfectly.
One by one, she had lured the elements away from each other and welcomed them to her new and improved leadership style.

They would have no more thoughts, no more worries, or concerns. She would be their Mommy and caregiver until the end of time. They no longer had to worry about politics, being adults, eating, or even speaking correctly. They could babble and gurgle all day, understanding nothing.

Now with both the princesses and all six elements of harmony under her control, there was nothing left to stand in the way of her ultimate goal. Becoming the mother of all Equestria. Sure, there were a few players left on the board, Princess Cadance and that fool Shining Armor.

But she wasn't worried. The pair rarely interacted with Equestria directly unless Celestia invited them or some threat required them to send a letter requesting assistance. And besides, even if someone had managed to escape her grasp and got word to them.

It would be several months before either of the two took action or even learned of her takeover. By then, it would be too late. Alas, no one had escaped her motherly affection! In all honesty, she was shocked by how smoothly things had gone. No one had suspected a thing, let alone tried to stand up to her.

She had expected far more resistance from Twilight Sparkle in particular, but the poor girl had folded almost immediately. She had feared Rarity might wake up and offer some form of battle or resistance, but one spell was all it took for the fashionista to go blank.

Fluttershy and Pinkie had fallen to the subliminal music of the train ride to Canterlot, and Rainbow Dash had swirled away seemingly to nothing! Equestria had embraced Pamper Swirl's teachings and added child-like wonder and design to everything!

It warmed the alicorn's heart to see her little ponies adopting the correct mindset. They weren't adults; they couldn't care for themselves, and that was dangerous! They needed someone like her, a mother, to swoop in and show them that the way they had been living was not only dangerous but wrong!

Pamper Swirl giggled softly as she watched Applejack and Rainbow Dash stumble toward each other before tripping and collapsing to the ground with loud whines. "Ah can'ts beweive you applesh!" Rainbow Dash babbled, reaching a hand toward the farm pony.

"You twipped me!" Applejack responded with a pout, flailing her limbs about in an attempt to stand up. She failed quickly, face-planting again.

They were so cute and helpless. Pamper Swirl wanted nothing more than to care for every single one of them all day. Sadly, her work was not complete. There were still ponies in her kingdom missing out on this perfect life. Those who still thought and pretended to be adults.

They were miserable little creatures, trapped forever in a life full of hardship and wasted potential where every day was wasted and hard work was under-appreciated or ignored! She needed to free them, she needed to free them all from such a terrible prison!

"Maaaa maaaaaa!" Twilight gurgled, interrupting Pamper Swirl's internal thoughts. She reached her hands toward Pamper Swirl as a string of drool flew from her mouth, coating the bib adorning her chest. She had the dopies,t stupidest smile as her tongue rolled from her mouth.

"Yes, Twily?~" Pamper Swirl cooed softly. "What is it, my sweet girl?"

"Are you'sh, Are you'sh gon take cwaes of us?" Twilight slurred as her eyes crossed.

Swirl laughed as she petted Twilight's head. "Yes, my little one, Yes, I am. Mommy is here now~"

============================================================================= Chapter 3
=============================================================================
Vinyl grunted as she yanked her suitcase free of the train doors. Her suitcase always managed to get stuck at the most inconvenient of times. It wasn't the train's fault, but it did add an extra layer of annoyance to these trips. The little inconveniences always piled up.

Putting aside her brief annoyance, Vinyl smiled as the towering vistas of Canterlot loomed overhead. She hadn't been called to Canterlot in several months now. The nobles despised her music, calling it dying radio music. She respectfully disagreed, but nobles were always stuck in the mud.

Unsurprisingly, most of her visits to Canterlot had been from Princess Luna. Much to Vinyl's surprise, the lunar princess had become a tech and dance music enthusiast after returning from her banishment and had invited Vinyl to play at her parties for years.

The Lunar Princess sure knew how to party. She always got hammered, stumbling around the dance floor, making a complete fool of herself and her small group of friends or less pompous nobles. It felt good to be appreciated in Canterlot, even if only by one person.

So imagine her surprise when Celestia, of all people, invited her to be the host and DJ of not just a noble event, but a nationwide announcement event of all things. Vinyl had been so certain the princess would ask for Octavia that she immediately gave the letter to Tavi unopened.

But it had been true, written in clear text. The sun goddess had requested her services specifically. Vinyl would never protest a new gig, but she had been somewhat hesitant. The one time she had played for noble partie,s it hadn't gone well. But Octavia had reassured her that everything would work out fine.

When working jobs like these, Vinyl tended to pack light, bringing only a controller, speakers, and a few spare cables. Sound equipment always found a way to weigh more than it looked, and she didn't want to risk dropping it or arrogant nobles fiddling with her stuff and breaking it.

Besides, the princesses usually provided any equipment they needed at the venue. The sound of a train whistle and wheels grinding against the train track pulled the blue-haired DJ from her thoughts. She needed to get to the palace. Grabbing her suitcase handle, the DJ made her way down the station platform.

A gentle bed of music floated through the air as Vinyl had her ticket scanned at the ticket booth and entered the city proper. Canterlot sure looked different compared to the last time she'd been there. Alphabet blocks, rattles, and baby bottles lined the streets.

The gold and marble walls of buildings had been painted over with giant red, blue, and yellow handprints. They appeared to be water-painted onto the marble itself, a far cry from the usual highbrow artwork and paintings she was used to. Even some of the storefronts had changed.

Instead of displaying jewelry and the typically over-priced slop, they now offered pacifiers, bonnets, bibs, and onesies. The store logos were crossed out and written over with a sloppy black marker. The whole aesthetic was bizarre. If she had been in any city other than Canterlot, the DJ would've questioned such decisions, but not in Canterlot.

While Vinyl enjoyed the city, particularly the nightlife, she wasn't a huge fan of Canterlot. It was often bogged down by pompous aristocrats who turned their noses up at anything not shimmering with gold or the princess's affection. Whatever this was had probably pacified some noble in the courts.

After a few weeks of placation, Princess Celestia would roll everything back to normal once the nobles grew bored of their little prank. Nobles were spoiled brats, so the idea that they would baby up the city wasn't as far-fetched to her as it might be to others.

After struggling up the absurdly long flight of stairs leading to the royal palace, Vinyl arrived at the main gate of Canterlot Castle. She had the usual argument with the guards over the weight of her luggage before being allowed entry. Palace guards were an interesting bunch.

Vinyl figured they didn't have much to do and needed to make up reasons for why they were needed. Some examples included: being overly nosy about luggage, randomly pulling ponies aside for "threat inspections," and asking ridiculous questions regarding your reason for visiting.

The silly song and dance of it all were well practiced by now. Vinyl rolled her eyes as she wandered through the halls of Canterlot Castle. The letter had said to meet the princess in the royal hall at exactly 1:30 PM. No sooner, no later. The sharp mandate had been somewhat surprising.

The royal sisters rarely, if ever, had sharp deadlines. They tended to trust those they hired to be timely and punctual. Sure, they may be prissy about it for the first few jobs, but after three, trust was all but cemented. Perhaps it was because of the nationwide announcement.

Regardless, it was none of Vinyl's business. She was here to play music, not politics. A large carpet with a spiral design spread before, and a series of stained glass windows lined the edge of the room, reflecting sunlight about the chamber and sending beams of sparkling particles dancing.

A large stage sat at the back of the hall with a large set of scaffolding and lighting rigs anchored around it. An Amazon of cables ran from a table in the center of the stage to a series of large speakers and subwoofers facing the audience. Chairs and other amenities were positioned near the stage.

Vinyl sighed relieved as she set her luggage down on the spiral carpet. Despite having wheels, her suitcase was shockingly heavy. It felt even heavier after lugging it up the stairway leading to the palace. She checked her watch. 1:29 PM She was right on time.

The letter hadn't said what to do upon arrival, but Vinyl was confident she was supposed to wait for the princess. Normally, she'd spend the wait time setting up her gear, but the stage was surprisingly well-wired for a place that typically served a single cello and several aristocrats.

So she waited, taking in the atmosphere of the large empty hall. It always amazed her whenever she visited Canterlot. The sheer beauty and architectural mastery of the interiors of Canterlot Castle and other royal departments. Normally, she despised "royal" designs.

But the architects behind Canterlot Castle had struck the perfect balance between modern minimalism and elegant royalty. The chamber had a strange but comforting air of nostalgia and calm. Perhaps the DJ would take some inspiration for her next set in Manhattan.

The gentle ticking of her watch filled the halls as Vinyl Scratch stood in silence. 1:31 PM 1:34 PM 1:39 PM Seconds turned to minutes as the appointed time came and went with no princess in sight. Vinyl began tapping her foot impatiently. What was going on?

Vinyl was used to things moving fast. Show up, play, talk to some fans, go home. It was a quick in-and-out affair. Especially with higher-end events, everyone had timetables to keep. She assumed the princesses were already on a tight schedule. How could they take this long to address what had to be a micro part of their day?

The workings of the royal palace and the royal sisters in general always confused her. Several more minutes passed, and Vinyl's impatience grew. She knew it was ludicrous to expect royalty, especially the leaders of a nation, to be quick and efficient, but she was bleeding bits standing around being useless.

Finally, a flurry of activity at the end of the hall signaled someone was coming. The doors flew open, revealing a light purple alicorn wearing a long red velvet dress with golden high heels and a small crown atop her head. She muttered something incoherent to a nearby guard, quickly closing the doors with her magic.

Vinyl's impatience immediately morphed into confusion. This wasn't Princess Celestia or Luna, nor was it a noble or royal secretary. Who was this person? A thousand questions raced through the DJ's head as the alicorn approached, a pleasant smile adorning her face.

"Well, it's good to see that you are a timely little pony." The alicorn laughed gently, waving a hand playfully at Vinyl.

"Who ar-?" Vinyl began, only to be cut off.

"I know you likely have several questions, my little pony; however, this event is of the essence. My name is Pamper Swirl, and Princess Celestia and Luna have requested that this event be thrown as quickly and efficiently as possible." Pamper Swirl nodded, gesturing to Vinyl, "I have been told you are the best DJ in the land, is this correct?"

Vinyl's mouth flapped rapidly as her mind outran her mouth. She had so many questions. She thought there were only two alicorns in Equestria, Celestia and Luna, but clearly, that was wrong. Only princesses had both wings and a horn, and this pony had both.

Aside from Princess Cadance of the Crystal Empire, she wasn't aware of another princess in the land. Wouldn't that have warranted a nationwide announcement? Come to think of it, is that what the national announcement of this event was supposed to be?

And Pamper Swirl? What kind of name was that? It sounded like a nursery rhyme or kids' show mascot. However, the question of the name and any bickering or snickering regarding it was quickly forgotten as the unknown princesses completed Vinyl's skills as a DJ.

Her cheeks flushed red with embarrassment. It was quite a flattering statement, one she doubted to be true; however, she wouldn't deny the praise of a princess, no matter how ill-founded she thought they were. Besides, her skills had improved drastically since her last stay in Canterlot.

"Yeah, that's right!" Vinyl replied, puffing out her chest. "Any party, any event, DJ-PON3's got you covered!"

Pamper Swirl smirked, tilting her head slightly. "Excellent, now then. I trust you know what needs to be done here," She gestured toward the wire-covered stage, "Celestia and Luna have assured me everything is already set to your liking, do be sure to let me know if something breaks."

Vinyl nodded as Pamper spoke, taking a few mental notes and eyeing the stage. She had to admit, the princess had gone all out for this. Octavia could expect this type of treatment, but it was a bit rarer for electronic music. Most venues hadn't caught up to the tech yet.

"Yeah, for sure, thanks, Your Majesty," Vinyl smirked, nodding.

Pamper Swirl giggled before sharpening her features, "The event is scheduled for 8:00 PM. I trust that a pony of your stature can fine-tune everything before then?"

"Oh, for sure!" Vinyl said enthusiastically, bending down and unlocking her suitcase. "I'll get started right away!"

"Excellent! Oh, actually, before you get too carried away." Pamper Swirl said, holding up her finger in a 'wait a second' motion, "I haven't been to many 'nighttime' events, and I am most curious to see how it all works." The alicorn sighed, feigning sadness.
"Perhaps I could watch while you set up?"

"Huh?" Vinyl paused mid-action as her mind processed the request. She didn't particularly care if someone watched her setup. Plenty of people had over the years, what surprised her was who was asking her. Sure the princess had better things to do than watch a DJ fiddle with knobs for a few minutes.

"Oh, yeah sure, I don't mind." Vinyl shrugged. It wasn't her place to worry about the princess's schedule. She assumed Swirl knew where she needed to be and would make it work. She was getting paid a lot of bits for this, but not enough to care this much.

"Excellent~" Swirl clapped her hands together with a smile.

Vinyl spent the next few minutes jacking her controller into the many inputs and outputs of the stage. She checked all the speakers, ensured everything was fully plugged in, and checked all the cables connecting each device. Once everything was set, she pulled up a list of songs on her phone and prepared for a brief run-through of the set.

"Let's get this party started!" She shouted as she pressed a button, and the first song started. The loud bassy thump of a kick drum pulsed through the stage as the first song blared through the speakers. It was quickly joined by synths and other percussion.

Pamper Swirl watched from one of the audience chairs, humming along to the music. The song was quite good, but she still preferred simpler pieces. She watched the blue-haired DJ fiddle with some knobs and faded some tracks beginning the transition into the next part of the song.

It was almost time.

With a gentle smirk, the alicorn ignited her horn and encased each speaker in her magic, placing an enchantment on them. Vinyl bobbed her head up and down to the beat, completely engrossed in the music. Pamper Swirl was confident she wouldn't realize what was happening to her until it was far too late.

Vinyl was on fire, and she could feel it! The music was blaring, and the princess seemed to be enjoying herself. Everything was going great! That was until track six. In the middle of her transition to track seven, the speakers started crackling, drowning out the music in a barrage of horrible sounds.

Vinyl looked up from her DJ equipment in surprise, bewildered by what was happening, only for the crackling to stop and be replaced by a simple 4 note melody. Xylophones, Marimbas, cheap ukuleles, and acoustic melodies began pouring out of the speakers.

Rings of pink and purple particles swirled from the speakers and curled back towards the stage, coating her face in a bright, light pink glow. "What the? What's going on?!" Vinyl shouted over the music as a gentle fog coated her mind. The childish melodies wormed their way into the DJ's ear, and she found herself humming them back to herself over and over again.

A wide smile exploded across her face as warm tingling danced up and down her spine. The white unicorn felt her body moving by itself as she danced to the childish tunes. Swirls formed in her eyes as each measure of music carried another thought away.

Her jaw was unclenched, becoming limp and loose as drool rolled from her mouth. Her clothes felt yucky and uncomfortable, as if they were made of the world's scratchiest material. Before Vinyl knew it, she had discarded them onto the floor.

The pink particles swirled around her naked form as a warm, fluffy sensation wrapped itself around her waist, and a gentle crinkling reached her ears. She felt herself growing limper and heavier. It felt like she was sitting on a warm, fluffy cloud. She could feel her thoughts and motor abilities disappearing, becoming weaker as she slumped down against her controllers.

Her mind tumbled deep into a musical vortex of hypnotism and regression, "Bwaaaahhhhh!" Vinyl gurgled as her hands hopelessly groped at the switches, the meaning and function of each one had abandoned her mind. Pamper Swirl grinned devilishly as she watched the proud DJ descend into fits of babbling drooly madness.

"That's a good girl~" Pamper Swirl cooed as the gentle lullabies and hypnotic music continued blasting from the speakers without a DJ to guide their transitions or length. "Fall into the glorious abyss of mindless obedience~" The DJ had been acquired.

Pamper Swirl smirked as she neared the front door of the Ponyville town hall. Normally, she preferred to take her time converting new little ones into their regressed forms. She had already grabbed the elements of harmony, and the princesses using said method.

However, time was of the essence. With so many powerful ponies now under her control. It wouldn't be long before people started asking questions. Why weren't the princesses in the court? Why were the elements of harmony and Princess Twilight not acting like themselves around Ponyville?

The problem was destined to escalate the longer it took for Equestrian culture to move toward diapers and regressed minds being the norm. Even worse, what if some of these filthy questioners started spreading worry to other nations? Her plans would be ruined!

Pamper Swirl couldn't let that happen; she needed her little ponies to be safe and cared for with a new government and system to ensure the status quo never changed. As such, Mayor Mare would be the first and hopefully only pony to receive a proper magical mind break.

Pamper Swirl didn't have time to set up an elaborate unaware spell or enchant speakers and equipment as she had with Vinyl earlier that week. Instead, she was going to deal with the mayor the old-fashioned way. pop up during Mayor Mare's business hours and blast her with a mind regression spell.

It was a simple affair, and Pamper Swirl almost felt bad about how easy it would be. Once she had the Mayor under her control, no one would be able to stand in her way. She controlled the palace, the nation's best defenders, and soon every small town. Taking a breath, she knocked on the door to Mayor Mares's office.

A flurry of paper and a small muffled yelp sounded behind the door as it flew open, revealing a disheveled elderly pony with yellow fur and crooked glasses. She had an air of exhaustion around her and a gentle look upon her features. Behind her was a room coated in messy paper and administration.

"Good evening, Mayor Mare~" Pamper Swirl smirked as her horn flared with magic.

Spike coughed as a thick cloud of dust flew from the bookshelf. He coughed, waving his hands to clear the air as he repositioned the duster and resumed his assault on the dusty furniture. Cleaning Twilight's bookshelves was always a monotonous task.

But he enjoyed it. Part of him wondered if anyone else could accomplish the task without dying of boredom. Rainbow Dash would probably quit after five minutes, claiming the activity wasn't awesome enough for her. Pinkie Pie would make a mess, and Rarity would likely freak out from all the grime.

Spike chuckled to himself, imagining the fashionista throwing a fit, duster in hand. Cleaning the castle library was one of his favorite activities. It allowed him a break from the bustling world outside and a return to simpler times. Back then, Spike spent his mornings cleaning and caring for the old tree while Twilight wandered off to adventure.

Of course, he loved the castle and all the grandeur it had brought to their lives; however, the dragon would be lying if he said he didn't miss the simplicity of the Golden Oaks library. But that's Equestria for yeah, one day you're living a peaceful life in a small town, and the next you're fighting a bull demon from Tartarus.

Twilight had won the battle. However, even after her friends had helped make the castle more to her liking, Spike could tell the princess of friendship still missed the old library. The castle brought titles, national acclaim, and more annoyingly, prying eyes.

The poor girl could barely get a foot out the door without being swarmed by paparazzi and onlookers eager to get a photo or a word with the princess. Ponyville was a small town, so such things were minor inconveniences, but when they went to Canterlot, oh boy, was it horrible.

The nobles always tried to sucker up to Twilight and sometimes him. Twilight got the brunt of the attention, but Spike had had his fair share of encounters with ridiculous nobles who only wanted to speak with him because he was Twilight's assistant.

He was getting distracted.

With a few flicks of his duster, the last clot of stubborn dust flew from the shelf. Spike stepped back, admiring his work. Every shelf sparkled with an immaculate sheen; not a single speck of dust in sight. The bright rays of Celestia's sun poured through the crystal windows and bounced off the shimmering edges of the crystal bookshelves, bathing the room in a gentle, warm glow.

He had scrubbed the floors and sprayed the windows earlier that morning. His work here was done. Satisfied, he gave the room a curt nod. He was just in time as well! Mayor Mare had announced a mandatory party several days ago. Attendance was mandatory. Whatever that meant.

Princess Celestia and Princess Luna were visiting the small town with a huge nationwide announcement. Details of the announcement or the purpose of their visit were still unknown, but Spike wasn't going to turn down a party!

Normally, he and Twilight were invited to Canterlot for events like this.

For the princess to come here was a rare occurrence. Normally, when the royal sisters showed up in Ponyville, it was to announce the world was ending or request Twilight's help. Hopefully, that wasn't the case this time. Twilight wasn't even present this time around.

She had been called to Canterlot a few days ago and had yet to return. Spike assumed she was busy with royal affairs. Regardless, he was bummed that Twilight was going to miss this. Now that he thought about it all of their friends would miss the party.

Rainbow had been called off to Cloudsdale for special Wonderbolt training, Applejack had been busy with the farm, Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy had gone to Canterlot for a brief vacation, and Rarity was nowhere to be found. She had seemingly disappeared along with Sweetie Belle.

Spike was somewhat concerned about Rarity, but the fashionista always had a flair for the dramatic. This wasn't the first time she and Sweetie Belle had "disappeared". Typically, this resulted from Rarity becoming engrossed in a new project and forcing her sister to assist her.

The dragon theorized that the fashionista was busy sewing a dress for the suddenly announced party. Rarity hated sudden events, especially if she didn't have a dress or theme for the occasion. She and Sweetie Belle were probably hard at work crafting an outfit that would wow everyone.

It was odd timing. Everyone was preoccupied or on vacation. Why would the princess announce a nationwide proclamation and specifically go to Ponyville when everyone/every reason to be there and was on vacation or already in Canterlot? Why not announce the capital as they usually did?

Spike assumed the sisters wanted a break from the upper-crust atmosphere of Canterlot or perhaps a change of scenery. Otherwise, the decision and schedule made no sense. Twilight would probably accompany the princesses to Ponyville, so there was a chance of seeing her at the event.

Spiked smiled as he exited the library, placed his duster and other cleaning supplies in the usual closet, and marched toward his room. It was almost time for the party, and he didn't want to be late. The party was scheduled to start at 5:00 PM and end at 9:00 PM.

It was a long event, especially for Ponyville, but Spike was sure it would be fun. There would be games, free food, and maybe even tasty gems! Besides, he had spent the day cleaning and fixing up the castle. He wanted it to look clean and well-kept upon Twilight's return. He'd earned this break.

A glance at the clock revealed the time to be 4:50 PM. He entered his closet, grabbing some casual sweatpants, a T-shirt, and a hoodie. The event wasn't formal, but he was sure Rarity would have some choice words about his outfit. She could be such a critical person sometimes.

No matter, tonight was about fun. He had completed all his chores, massacred every germ in the castle, and was ready for the event 10 minutes early. Twilight would be proud. After applying some deodorant and spraying on some cologne, the dragon assistant marched out the door.

Spike whistled merrily as he walked down the main road connecting the Friendship Castle to Ponyville. The castle wasn't too far from town, but it was far enough to be a brief stroll. The gentle glow of bright lights and party streamers peaked over the thatch-roofed houses.

Had they already started the festivities? Spike rolled his eyes. Ponyville sure knew how to party. Even being early wasn't enough to outrun the fun. As he neared the edge of town, more details came into focus. The buildings had all been repainted.

White, light pink highlights, even the thatched rooves had been retrofitted with fluffy cloth edges and bright sprawling colors. Waterpainted artwork, such as handprints, alphabet blocks, and nursery rhymes, coated the sides of buildings. A maze of party streamers and mini-triangle flags hung overhead.

Hundreds of tiny Christmas lights had been strung around fence posts, building sides, and street lamps. As Spike entered the town proper, he saw that a series of stalls and tents had been set up around town. The laughter of ponies and the smell of delicious food filled the air.

"Hey, Spike! Over here!"

Turning his head, Spike spotted a light pink unicorn with purple and mint green hair waving at him with a wide smile. Beside her was another unicorn with light blue fur and a hilariously large wizard hat. She looked less enthused to be there, unlike her light pink counterpart.

"Starlight, Trixie!" Spike shouted as he neared the pair. "I didn't think you two would be interested in something like this." He laughed, waving a claw at the pair teasingly. "Shouldn't you two be busy 'practicing' for Trixie's next show or something?"

"Well, Attendance is mandatory." Starlight rolled her eyes, sticking her tongue out at the teasing dragon.

"Indeed!" Trixie said, puffing out her chest, "Trixie wouldn't miss a princess-mandated party for the world! Although Trixie is a tad confused by the choice of decor." The magician raised an eyebrow as she gazed at the chaos around them.
She had expected a crazy party, but nothing like this.

Hundreds of people wandered around them wearing tiny party hats, frilly dresses, and other attire. Only now that Trixie mentioned the decor did Spike realize some were wearing nothing but a diaper, bib, and bonnet. It was barely enough to cover a man's chest, and blush-inducing when a woman wore it.

Ponyville knew how to throw crazy parties, especially if the event was themed, but even Spike had to agree this felt a little ridiculous. Diapers? Pacifiers? Bonnets? What was this? Some kind of adult nursery? It was unnerving, especially when a small group waddled past them, diapers crinkling for all to see.

"It is a choice," Starlight said, eyeing her peers with a raised eyebrow. She'd seen Pinkie Pie pull off some absurd themes in her day, but this party took the cake. Part of her wondered if she should be worried. It almost felt like a mental illness had spread throughout the town.

A few attendees dressed similarly to Spike, Trixie, and Starlight in casual normal clothing, but they were few and far between.

"I can't be the only one who thinks this is bizarre, right?" Starlight chimed in after finishing her examination of the party around them.

Trixie and Spike nodded. Events dealing with royalty tended to be formal affairs with nobles and high-ranking officials making fools of themselves in front of the populace. The fool-making wasn't usually this literal. A series of babbles and gurgles reached the trio's ears as a couple stumbled past.

Both were drooling onto their bibs and waving their rattles wildly. For the princesses to not only mandate this party but attend and to be so childish felt out of place, to say the least. Trixie yelped, jumping out of the way as a small group of pegasus wandered past, waving rattles and gurgling into their pacifiers.

Spike opened his mouth to say something, but paused as a gentle bed of music reached his ears. What was that sound? It felt relaxing and comforting, and filled his stomach with warm, tingly butterflies. Was Vinyl here? Maybe Octavia was playing the music. It sounded classical enough.

The dragon turned to voice his question to the others, but was cut off by Trixie. "What's that?" Trixie said with a few blinks. Her ears swiveled about. "It sounds... nice..." Starlight raised an eyebrow at her friend as Trixie wandered off to a nearby stall, saying nothing.

"Trixie?" Starlight asked, raising an eyebrow at Spike, who shrugged. Trixie gave no response, fully engrossed in whatever she was doing. Starlight looked between the two, confused. What had gotten into Trixie? She'd never seen her this invested in anything at one of these parties.

"So, you're going to follow her, right?" Spike asked, gesturing toward Trixie, who was quickly disappearing into a sea of people. Starlight and Trixie were quite the duo to be around. They were also eccentric and often ended up in crazy situations.

They made for good stories after the fact, but Spike had noticed that a common factor in all of them tended to be Trixie wandering off and being stupid. Whatever had caught the magician's eye would no doubt require some form of saving by Starlight. He was sure he'd hear all about it later.

Starlight sighed. "Yeah, yeah, I guess I am. I wouldn't want her to get into trouble at the princess's party!" Starlight flashed Spike an apologetic smile as she jogged after her friend. "It was great seeing you, Spike!"

"Have fun fun you two!" He shouted after her as the unicorn disappeared into the sea of ponies.

Spike shook his head, amused. He hoped they didn't get into too much trouble. What was he going to do now? Normally, his friends or Twilight were here to guide the journey during the festivities, but he was alone this time. He hadn't been to a party alone before. It was a strange feeling.

A growl from his stomach answered his question for him. He should get some food. Spike had been distracted cleaning all day, and looking back, he realized he hadn't eaten anything. At least nothing he could remember. He wanted gems, tasty, tasty gems.

He didn't usually eat gems. They were like candy for dragons. Too many would fatten you, but eating none could lead to dangerous health defects. Dragons needed gems to survive. Twilight usually kept him well stocked with gems and other vital dragon nutrition.

But he felt she was a tad too scientific in her approach. Sometimes he just wanted a shiny, tasty gem by Celestia! But she wasn't here right now to monitor his intake, and it was a party after all~ He could afford a small splurge. His mouth watered at the thought.

He could eat all the tasty gems he wanted tonight, and no one was around to be a buzzkill. From the looks of things, a few stalls had been set up near the town center that served food. Single-serving pastries, tiny gems, vegetables, candies, etc, were on the menu.

Spike approached one of the stalls, eyeing the menu with ferocious hunger. "Step right up, step right up! The tastiest gems, pastries, and vegetables in Equestria are free of charge!" A light purple earth pony with dark purple hair shouted from behind the stall.

Before her lay a mountain of plates containing cupcakes, cake slices, vegetables, and different colored gems. Had he heard that right? Was all of this free? Surely not. It sounded ridiculous, but he wouldn't put it past the princess to charge nothing at an event this important.

Come to think of it, was anyone here spending bits? Looking around at the babbling, dopey smiles of nearby ponies made him doubt that. Perhaps everything was free if you were invested enough in the theme. He sighed, realizing he was pulling a Twilight.

This silly party didn't warrant a full inspection. He was here for gems and a good time; he needed to let it all go. Taking a deep breath, the dragon cleared his mind, located the line for the food stall, and took his place. Everything looked super tasty. The line wasn't long, but it was long enough that he knew there'd be a bit of a wait.

As he stood in line, he marveled at Ponyville's redecoration. He had to tell Pinkie Pie about this when she and Fluttershy returned. Perhaps this was all Pinkie Pie's doing, and the princesses weren't involved at all. He wouldn't put it past the Pink Pony to do something this crazy.
She would probably call it a childhood reconnection party!

Spike rolled his eyes at the thought. The mare was an enigma. He and the rest of the friend group had given up understanding it long ago. He chuckled, recalling the time Twilight had tried to study the pink bundle of chaos in detail. It hadn't gone well, and Twilight had had a mental breakdown.

"I thought you said you were going home." A harsh whispering voice pulled Spike from his reminiscing. Spike blinked, looking around for the source of the voice. Were they talking to him? He had just gotten here! Of course, he wasn't going home.

"I was!" a different voice replied, "But when I got to the outskirts of town, a pair of guards stopped me and said no one was allowed to leave until the festivities were over!"

Glancing around, Spike spotted the source of the voices. A pair of ponies, two spots ahead of him in the line, appeared to be having a small argument. With nothing else to occupy him, Spike began to eavesdrop. What was that about nothing being allowed to leave?

"They're actually enforcing that?!" One of the ponies, a light gray male earth pony, whispered back, looking surprised.

"Yes!" The other, a peach pegasus mare, responded harshly. "I couldn't believe it!"

The gray earth pony rolled his eyes, "That is ridiculous, but the announcement starts in thirty minutes, let's get some food and wait it out. They probably just want us to hear that."

The pegasus huffed but nodded. "Yeah, you're probably right, but I'm not happy about it."

The conversation ended there. Spike eyed the two suspiciously. Why would the guards get involved unless the pair had done something wrong? They must have broken some other rule or caused a scene somewhere else. The princess never actually enforced a mandatory attendance rule. That would be ridiculous.

The mandate was announced, so nobles and other important figures felt obligated to attend. The princess wouldn't waste the guard's time having them hunt down attendees who tried to 'escape'. Besides, every royal decree was reported on the next day. There must have been a part of the story that the pair omitted.

The line shuffled along in silence after the pair's conversation concluded. It seemed no one else was particularly talkative. Spike imagined they were all focused on getting food. Casting a glance beyond the line, Spike could see a wide range of food on display.

Cupcakes with cute decorative icing, gems of all shapes and sizes, and the occasional vegetable or salad. The food was laid out on large serving trays spread across four large tables in buffet style. Walk up, grab, and go. It was the best kind of free food.
The pony behind the stall occasionally leaned over the side, conversing with some attendees.

The serving ponies' outfit looked strange. He couldn't make out a lot of detail as she was mostly obscured by passing ponies and others in the line, but she wasn't wearing normal clothes, that's for sure. He swore he could make out a bonnet sticking up over ponies' heads.

The line shuffled along, and soon Spike found himself standing at the start of the buffet. He began loading his plate with pastries, cakes, and gems. Diet be damned he was going to enjoy himself today! He could work off a few thousand calories easily! Probably.

"My my, someone's a hungry little dragon today, hm?"

Spike yelped as the pony behind the counter addressed him, suddenly leaning over the edge of the stall with a smirk. It took a second for his mind to process what she had said, but once it did, his cheeks flushed red with embarrassment. What was that supposed to mean?

"Ah, um, y-yeah! Just a little!" He responded, tumbling over his words in a combination of embarrassed fluster and surprise. He turned to address the pony in question, but immediately turned away. She was not wearing normal clothes. A fluffy bonnet was wrapped neatly around her face.

The rim of a diaper poked its head over the counter, implying a crinkly diaper wrapped snugly around her waist. Her large knockers were on full display with only a bib barely covering the naughty parts. Spike's eyes became wide as saucers as the mental image implanted itself in his mind.

"Well, don't you worry about a thing, little one." The purple pony cooed, waving her mitten-covered hands at him. "You take anything and everything you want, no thoughts required!"

Spike's cheeks were practically burning his face off with how much he was blushing. The outfit was so revealing in such a bizarre way. He had seen other ponies wearing similar attire throughout the party, but seeing it up close felt different. It felt wrong but also completely right.

Was he the insane one for not jumping on board and getting invested in the theme like his pony peers had? Maybe this would be the new fashion trend. Would Rarity start making outfits like this? Spiked blinked as these thoughts tumbled through his head.

Where were these thoughts coming from? They couldn't be his. He'd never been interested in this kind of stuff before. Why was he suddenly considering it, even imagining his friend's involvement? Either way, he needed to get out of this line before someone threw a fit.

"Buh er, Y-yeah!" Spike responded to the pony quickly, stacking some more cupcakes and gems onto his plate. He cast the stall pony a flustered smile before darting away from the stall. He needed a break from this insanity. His mind was starting to feel fuzzy.

Spike spent a few minutes wandering the party, plate in hand, searching for a table/bench. Anywhere to sit and clear his head while he chowed down on some delicious gems. It didn't take long for him to realize a setting area had been placed at the center of Ponyville.

It was where all the fancy lights and decorations had been strung up after all. It was also where the stage for the princess's big announcement had been placed, so it made sense. He sifted through the maze of tables and chairs, finding a nice spot near the front of the stage.

The announcement wasn't due to start for several minutes, leaving plenty of time to enjoy a tasty treat. Spike leaned back in his chair as he picked a shiny orange gem from his plate. He licked his lips, admiring the gem before popping it into his mouth.

A delectable flavor exploded in his mouth, causing him to sigh in satisfaction. It was spicy with a hint of sweetness. He swished his tongue around the chomped crystal bits, savoring the flavor for as long as he could. He failed to notice a small cloud of pink dust flee from his mouth as he chewed.

The gem in question was the tastiest mineral he'd ever eaten. He'd have to ask the princesses where they'd found them or who had prepared them. He popped a few more gems into his mouth, savoring the different flavors. The flavor grew more intense with each bite, and Spike found himself craving more.

It was addictive. Maybe, he could sneak some out for later. He reached down to grab another, only for disappointment to spread across his face. He'd already eaten all the gems he'd taken from the food stand. How unfortunate, he hadn't been eating that fast, had he?

"Well, that sucks." Spike frowned as his stomach gurgled and a gentle fog coated his mind. He felt a sense of calm wash over him. He felt satisfied, fulfilled even. The gem's flavor sat on his tongue, causing a craving for more. His stomach felt full and heavy with crystal.

All he wanted to do now was relax and let everything go. It felt so easy to sink. His eyes lidded over as he slumped in his chair. What had he been doing? He couldn't recall. Maybe he needed to take a nap. It wasn't like anyone was watching him or he needed to be somewhere.

"Hewo Evwyone!" A voice shouted from the stage, pulling Spike's attention to the stage as horns blared and several spotlights flickered to life, casting blooming rays of light into the audience and high into the sky. Two silhouettes began making their way to the center of the stage.

"tank chus fwo attending ouws pawty! We hope yoush had a gweat time!" A different voice shouted as triumphant music began blaring from the speakers hung above the stage. Spike squinted, trying to make out who the two mystery people were. They sounded so familiar.

His question was quickly answered as the silhouettes entered the light, revealing Princess Celestia and Princess Luna. A loud gasp rang out from the crowd, making Spike jump in place. Looking around, he saw that every table had been filled with people.

When had they gotten there? Moreover, how had he not noticed them? Had he been that distracted while enjoying his food? Maybe Twilight was right; he did have a gem problem. He'd never doubt his surrogate mother on that front again. Maybe if his mind hadn't felt so foggy, he would've noticed.

The princesses were wearing wildly different attire from what he was used to. Both were wearing fluffy orange bonnets with bibs coating their breasts and diapers wrapped snugly around their waist. Princess Luna had a onesie under her bib with a pacifier attached to it by a thin piece of cloth string.

Celestia wore a white and orange diaper with a drawing of her cutie mark on the front, while Luna wore a blue and purple diaper with stars woven on the front. Both looked like complete idiots as they drooled over themselves and slurred their words while addressing the crowd.

"We's callsh you hewe's today to announcesh da bestest news!" Luna gurgled happily as she threw her arms into the air. A nearby party cannon exploded, showering the stage and onlookers with confetti and tiny pieces of candy. A gentle wave of pink particles rained down as well.

Spike watched the display with a blend of shock and complete content. It was a far cry from the princesses he was used to seeing. When he and Twilight visited, they were formal, well-spoken royalty. Part of him felt this was wrong, that he should protest this treatment of the royal sisters.

Royalty shouldn't be wearing diapers or bonnets, nor should they speak in such a manner. And yet another part of him was fine with this. Why shouldn't they wear pampers and enjoy themselves at a party? They were princesses after all and could do as they pleased.

Now that he thought about it, part of him felt the bonnets, diapers, and onesies fit them better than their usual regal attire. It showed off more personality and a childish, innocent youth that ponies typically lost as they aged. Why shouldn't the princesses be allowed to revisit their childhood in such a tangible way?

What was the harm in wearing diapers anyway? The ponies around him were already thoroughly invested in with idea of wearing diapers, bibs, and bonnets. They had even played with baby toys like rattles, alphabet blocks, and pacifiers. He was the weird one here.

Everything was perfectly fine.

"Thas wight!" Celestia chimed in. "Todaysh, we intwoduce you to the beshtest pwincess eqwestia has evah seens and ouw new Momma!" Celestia lazily waved her arms behind her as a third silhouette made itself known.

"Intwoducing Pamper Swirl! The new Momma of eqwestia!" The royal sisters shouted in unison, stepping aside to allow Pamper Swirl into the spotlight.

The light purple alicorn stepped into the spotlight with a pleasant smile on her face. Her horn glowed a gentle light pink as a brief musical cue played through the speakers. Her eyes surveyed the crowd briefly before she took a deep breath and began to speak.

"Thank you, little ones." Pamper Siwrl gestured to the two princesses beside her, who babbled happily from the praise. They loved serving Mommy, and being praised by her was the highest form of appreciation. If they hadn't been told otherwise, the pair would've filled their pampers immediately.

The room was silent as everyone stared at the stage in awe. Some were shocked at the revelation of a new alicorn, others were confused by the announcement of a mommy, and still others were too engrossed in the subtle music and magically laced food to care.

"I'm sure many of you have questions." Pamper Swirl said with a smirk as she paced the stage. This was the final step in her grand plan. The victory was all but assured, and she knew it. The princesses were docile, the crowd was eager, and Vinyl had done an excellent job with the music.

Only one piece remained to complete her puzzle. Pamper Swirl positioned herself on the edge of the stage and sent a torrent of magic into her horn. It glowed bright pink, sending blinding beams of light out to the audience. Onlookers gasped and oohed at the light show as a wave of pink magic exploded over the audience.

"Questions I promise to answer." The alicorn continued as a series of surprised shouts rippled through the audience. Anyone who wasn't already wearing a diaper instantly had their clothes replaced with one. This included Spike, who yelped in surprise at the sudden clothing change, though his mind was too hazy to process the implications.

"However, before I can do that, there is something I must do." It was time. Pamper Swirl looked off to the left of the stage, spotting Vinyl Scratch eagerly leaning over her DJ controller. The adorable little DJ's mind had broken completely after their little session earlier in the week. Swirl was so proud of her.

Seeing the thumbs up, Vinyl babbled happily as she pressed a large red button in the center of her console. A loud bass-filled sound swept over the crowd after she pressed it. Spike's face immediately scrunched up as he felt his legs spread and his bowels began to push on their own accord.

He cried out in protest as he felt a large log of a mess slide out of his backside. His thoughts slowed and became hazy as the back of his diaper ballooned out, freeing him from the weight of thinking, stress, or worry. He was free to relax and let go like the good little baby he was.

A symphony of crinkling filled the air as everyone else also voided their thoughts into their diaper seat just as Spike had. A devilish smirk wormed its way onto Pamper Swirl's face as everyone around her became mindless babbling idiots just like the princesses.

She had done it. After years of trial and error, hundreds of failed attempts, and hours of scheming, the day had arrived. No one was left to stand in her way. The royal sisters had fallen, the elements were no more, and all of Ponyville had seen the truth.

"Today marks the start of a new era for Equestria." Pamper Swirl announced, waving her arms over the crowd. "An era of peace and prosperity for everyone, there will be no classes, no income, no work, nothing at all for you to worry about. Your life will be stress-free and simple!"

"Yaysh!" Vinyl shouted. Being behind the speakers had spared her from the brown note and thought voiding of the rest of the audience. Celestia and Luna duh'd and drooled over themselves in response to Pamper Swirl's evolving monologue. The alicorn knew they wouldn't remember this.

The days of adulting, of thinking and worrying over anything at all, are now behind you. Thoughtless heads and full diapers are all you'll ever need. I am your new Mommy, the one who will care for you and your fellow littles until the end of time!" Pamper Swirl giggled as several ponies fell out of their chairs.

"Do not feel shame in wearing diapers, embrace it! It is entirely normal and the correct attire to wear. Suck on your pacifiers and drool away, for paradise awaits us. Enjoy swirling away in your cribs and nurseries, forget foreign policy, forget everything! Be happy, little, and mindless as you were always meant to be!~"

A thunderous wave of approving babbles and gurgles ripped through the crowd as Spike and his fellow ponies leaped out of their chairs to celebrate the dawn of a new age. Rattles flew and diapers sagged as the old ways were forgotten. New Equestria began that day.

============================================================================= Epilogue
=============================================================================
The bright rays of Celestia's sun beamed down upon the pink and child-like spires of Pamperlot Castle. Ponies waddled the streets, babbling and gurgling mindlessly to themselves, their thoughts a million miles away. Storefronts that once displayed fine jewels and expensive fittings now showcased diapers, pacifiers, and changing tables.

Pegasus filled the skies, smiling and swirling away to themselves as they grunted and pushed any remaining thoughts into the back of their diapers, the forecast having been completely forgotten. The once dull and bland televisions lining tech stores and news stations were now filled with color.

Exciting, happy shows littered the screens, showcasing a wide array of different colored spirals, flashing text, diaper mascots, and more, telling all to relax and forget. The programming was so mindless that one could zone out for hours watching it, and many often did.

Ponies in all households gathered around their televisions and watched in awe as the bright colors and swirly vortexes relaxed and regressed them under the banner of obedience. Seconds turned to hours and hours to days as they drooled and released into their pampers.

The occasional comment or passing conversation about the before times, a scary, dreadful time when Equestria didn't have the benevolent mother it has today, or the care stations and televisions of regression that now line the walls are quickly dismissed as hearsay.

A passing comment of a dream or perhaps a nightmare of using a strange device called a toilet is quickly suppressed and taken from the minds of those who claim it by the wonderous pamper princess of dreams. Dismissed as but a dream in a mind filled with wild imagination.

Everything is perfect in the new Equestria. There are no thoughts, no worries, or pesky grown-ups getting in the way. It is a land of peace and prosperity ruled by legions of regressed ponies and helpless littles incapable of thinking for themselves or causing harm.

The once proud legislation hall where nobles bragged of status, income, and policy now lay dormant with only a few nobles dotting the seating posts. They no longer argue or deceive, but rather sit and drool happily in their council chairs, slobbering through their pacifiers in positions of mock power.

The moderators, judges, and juries have all been replaced with drooling little foals who imagine themselves lawyers, doctors, and important people. Their imaginations run wild with possibilities and legislations they will approve of when they grow up.

They await this day with excitement and enthusiasm, failing to realize the wonderful secret of their new lives. They will never grow up; they will never not need the gentle embrace of a mother or caregiver. Baby food, rattles, and kindergarten classes shall follow them into eternity.

Above all, the Mother and caregiver of Equestria sits atop her golden throne, managing the day-to-day operations of her new country-wide nursery. There is much to discuss and more to give her little ponies; however, the deed is done, and the throne is hers. No one stands to overturn her rules.

"She didn't even use a diaper; she instead used the potty!" Pamper Swirl shouted with mock horror, throwing her arms in the air for emphasis. She loved telling her fresh little stories. They were always so attentive and hung on every word she said. Today, she was telling them the horrors of a land without diapers.

Applejack, Twilight, and Rainbow Dash gasped in shock all shouting, "Nuh!" in unison.

"Indeed." Pamper Swirl nodded solemnly. "Can you imagine such a thing?" The alicorn scoffed. "Using a potty instead of your diaper? I hope none of you ever experience such a thing."

"We wouldsh nevah!" Twilight pipped up, throwing her arms up in the air with a gurgle. The former princess of friendship had acclimated well to her training. She slurred her words and drooled over herself like a good little should. And she no longer had thoughts of friendship or leadership.

Her gaze always appeared millions of miles away and her swirly eyes soaked up the world with a child-like glee and wonder that Pamper Swirl envied. Twilight had quickly become one of Swirl's favorite littles. She cared for each of them deeply, of course; however, Twilight was special to her.

"Yeah!" Rainbow chimed in trying and failing to pump her fist in the air. "We wouldsh nevursh use da, da... pot.. potty?"

"Darn tootinsh!" Applejack nodded as a droplet of drool rolled from her mouth, crashing against the bonnet wrapped around her neck. Her diaper crinkled softly with every movement she made.

Rainbow Dash stuck her tongue out at the former farm pony while Rarity gurgled, playing with her feet in the background. The Mane Six had quickly accepted and adapted to their regression training. None of them could remember a time before Mommy ruled Equestria.

Each had been equipped with adorable outfits. Frilly skirts, pacifiers, booties, mittens, bonnets, and bibs were given to each pony to ensure maximum adorableness and mess prevention. Bibs for drool, skirts to hide messes and stained diapers, and booties/mittens to ensure no walking.

Walking was dangerous; you could fall and seriously hurt yourself. It simply would not do. Babies like these needed to crawl. Crawling was efficient, had little consequence for falling, and was often faster than waddling or stumbling. It wasn't ideal for Pamper Swirl to have to keep track of everyone; however, it prevented them from getting too far out of her sight.

"Whatsh you waughin aboutsh?!" Applejack barked staring pointedly at Rainbow Dash. Pamper Swirl giggled as the two crawled toward one another and attempted to slap each other with their mittens. They were so adorable.

"You'sh a dwooler You'sh a dwooler!" Rainbow chanted tauntingly causing Applejack's cheeks to flush red with embarrassment.

"Am notsh!" She slurred back as more drool flowed from her mouth. A soft babble rang out as Rarity finished playing with her foot and resorted to flailing her arms wildly with a wide, dopey smile.
Pamper Swirl had returned some of the former Fashionestia smarts as promised, but it wasn't nearly enough to form cohesive thoughts.

Everything had gone according to plan. She had successfully dethroned Princess Celestia and Princess Luna, subdued the elements of harmony, and even managed to avoid Discord after taking Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie under her motherly wings. The god of chaos was strong, but not that strong~

Two gentle moans reached Pamper Swirl's ears as she turned and saw Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy squat down and push out a mess near the center of the room. Those two had a habit of squatting down and letting it all out. The pair made the most adorable pushing faces every time they did so~

Every little in her kingdom did, but the former elements held a special place in her heart. They had been strong for so long and had put up the most resistance in defense of Equestria. She felt the only way to honor their achievements was to acknowledge what they had been.

The dreadful skills they no longer needed to live their lives. They had earned their life of leisure of comfort, even if it had taken several months for them to realize it. Every single obstacle had been defeated, and much to her joy, no one had tried to return to "normal".

Or at the very least not successfully.

"Mama?" Princess Luna asked waddling over next to Pamper Swirl.

"Yes, Sweetie?" She replied softly.

"Awe yoush gon takesh cawe of ush fowevahs?"

Pamper Swirl giggled, placing a hand on Luna's head and giving her a few gentle pats. "Well, of course, Sweetie, every single one of you is special and precious to me in your own unique way. I wouldn't trade you for the world, ever!" She squished Luna's cheeks, eliciting a small pout from the former princesses.

"Yahs why shouldsh you's evew doubts moma!" Celestia babbled from the opposite side of the room as she tried and failed to stack a set of alphabet blocks. "She always dere for ush!"

The other ponies nodded or babbled in agreement. Mommy was the best!

"Mmmm, yes, you should never doubt me~" Pamper Swirl smirked as she gave Luna a teasing boop on the nose. "Even those silly Crystal ponies are under Mommy's care now. That naughty Crystal Princesses and her evil guards didn't stand a chance~"

"Shinies!" Twilight blurted out at the mention of Cadence and her brother, Shining Armor. Some memories would always persist, no matter how hard Pamper Swirl magically intervened. Regardless, the Crystal Empire had fallen under her control just a week ago.

As she had predicted, Cadance and Shining Armor had been left completely unaware of what was happening in Equestria. This had made Pamper Swirl's "invasion" of the Crystal Empire disappointingly easy. Part of her had hoped the two royals would put up more of a fight, but they had fallen almost as quickly as Celestia and Luna.

It was no matter, Swirl had needed more people to help with taking care of her precious littles, and the crystal ponies had proven to be a worthy solution. They had seamlessly integrated into the new equestrian society as caregivers. They had been allowed to keep some of their independence, but not enough to rebel or cause trouble.

Pamper Swirl had made sure of that. There were to be no problems in her kingdom, especially not from within. However, the successful integration of the Crystal ponies prompted a question. Could she extend her kingdom further? Some of the most powerful deities in history had fallen to her easily.

Perhaps there was an opportunity for others to enjoy the stress-free world and care her ponies experienced daily. Maybe the entire continent and even Griffontonia would one day acknowledge and accept her rule. Perhaps she could convince Thorax and DragonLord Ember to join them~
